I watched someone playing a DS and I have one word to describe that...Lame. You had to use the stylus pen to look around, and the keys to strafe? That's really stupid if you ask me.

Please the DS own the PSP? You obvously don't know the specs, nor do you know the possibilities with the PSP. None of which are possible with the DS. DS < PSP simple as that.

DS is owning the psp, its out first, costs less then the psp will, and the specs of both of the systems are about equal exept for the fact that the ds has 2 screens so you can look at maps wial playing

technicly the worst system is atari and about the psp and ds ,ds is better longer battery life ,2 screens,oraganizer,etc. the psp was a stupid idea since it using cd's ull need a memory card, a recharger handy at all times since the cd reader will take alot of power, even tho the psp has (most likely) better grafics than the ds ,the psp was a stupid idea that should have come out when it can last longer then 4 hours(if im correct) to the ds 8-10 hour battery life

WRONG, first video game system was the atari, Clekovision was the first to have graphics of those of the arcade games. DS IS owning already, wheres the PSP? Not to mention you can basicly Instant Message over the DS. I dont see that in the PSP

The core of the PlayStation 2 will be new CPU technology. The project is a joint effort by Sony, Toshiba and IBM. They have been working on the project since 2001, but so far very little facts about its functionality has been released. Sony expects to use the chip inside HDTV's and computers as well.[indent]In a joint statement the three firms gave hints about how the chip will work but fuller details will be released in February next year at the International Solid State Circuits Conference in San Francisco.



The three firms claim that the Cell chip will be up to 10 times more powerful than existing processors.

When put inside powerful computer servers, the Cell consortium expects it to be capable of handling 16 trillion floating point operations, or calculations, every second.

The chip has also been refined to be able to handle the detailed graphics common in games and the data demands of films and broadband media.

Sony and IBM are expected to start producing the Cell, a 4GHz chip the two companies have been working together on for the past three years.

Sony said that it will use the chip for its home servers used in broadband and high-definition TV systems. The chip has a 64-bit architecture and multiple cores and is built for broadband applications - the companies have said that more details of the chip should be available by February 6, 2005.

With the chip, devices are expected to be more powerful than IBM's own Deep Blue supercomputer, which was capable of teraflops of processing power.

nintendo revolution will likly have the same gaming specs as the xbox 2 and ps3 and will cost alot less

and if your thinking that the nintendo revolution will come out way later then either of those 2 then dont forget the nintendo 64s idea was stated to the public and then released under a year later

odd thing is the n64 used cd's it was an ad on called 64-DD(diskdrive) i'm not totaly sure if it played games but im sure it does exist but its hard to find.
tahu has a point xbox and ps2 arn't even gaming consoles ,the ps2 is a dvdplayer/cd player/game system, xbox is the same but u have to buy the dvd player(soo stupid-_-),and gamecube well is a game console all have online play (gamecube dun use it much).well they are but not true game consoles.one thing for sure is nintendo will always have the cheapest system, personally i prefer the gamecube over the xbox and ps2 but more or less it all about the opinion/preferences and just abit about the facts

what their saying is they are gonna use that same chip in their HDTVs, i bet its gonna be about the same price as the ps2 when it came out.........from what i've seen, they are pretty consistant on price, when PS 1st came out, it was around the price of when the PS2 1st came out

all i'd have to say to that is play metroid prime and you'll see another great game for gamecube. now try all of the games that include "old school characters" (ie Mario Sunshine & other mario games, Donkey Kong games, Zelda games, etc.) and you'll see how much fun they really are. many ppl just don't like gamecube because they honestly have never tried it; they are too busy with their San Andreas or their Halo 2 to test out the little guy and see how good it really is. ppl will also just see gamecube as a "baby" system because of some of the games being rendered in a cartoon feeling. this is how gaming started; we didn't start with super duper flying death kill submachine gun stuff etc; lol that was a fun rant.

as you guys can tell from my previous posts (or cant tell), i'm a PS2 fan, and my sister has a GameCube, and i must admit, Mario Sunshine is a fun game, had me playin it till i had to come home
