Nowadays, all you hear on the radio are bands EVERYONE knows or artist that everyone knows. Now its time for the underdogs! Name some good bands that aren't on mtv, and say what genre they are in.. ex: rap, rock, indie etc.. Hopefully we can get some new favorites out there.

I'm a bad judge of what's on MTV and the radio because i never listen to them, but i've never heard Coheed and Cambria on the radio or seen them on MTV. They are rock and really good.

Crossfade - Rock also. They are a local band (well to me anyways). They began in Columbia, SC. They're pretty awesome. I'm not sure that many people know Breaking Benjamin, they kick tail.

Breaking Benjamins did a few songs on the Halo 2 soundtrack, including like one of the top 2 songs in the game..
