To Muzik And other Mod

Eh, I think you guys have just got to get over it....And don't you realise that questioning a mods decision is even bigger grounds for getting banned again?

I say if you truly feel your punishment was unjust. I did that and my four day ban turned into like 30 seconds. And it was unjust in my opinion and Muder had a nice long argument with me about it. Of course in the end I saved his modhood :p . And hey questioning the mods that first time got Alli to ask if I'd like to replace one of the soon to be open mod slots caused by the argument. If you have been wronged you must make it vocal and fight cause if you just sit back it will just keep happening. In this case I agree that Kemwing was wronged and think Muzik should at the very least apologize to him.

Perhaps, but a forum needs things like this to keep things fresh and entertaining. Believe it or not, people feed from strife, and it makes more people want to be present to see it unfold.

I think this is something that is perfectly healthy (in VERY small doses) for a forum. It keeps people attentive to what they are posting.

I agree with Spoonman, here. If there is a mod that is taking their job to levels 'above and beyond' they need to be removed, or dealt with in some other way. I want to make it totally clear that I have never dealt with any mods at this forum, so I'm not talking about Muzik, or Spitfire(Sorry guys, you are the only two that I know of with powers around the forums), or anyone in particular.

I looked it over and I think the punishment was uncalled for...this is MY Opinion....and as a Super Mod I wont Undo another Mods call as I think it undermines evey Mods authority and causes sensely fighting!Yes Mods can be wrong...we are human and just as apt to make mistakes as the next guy!But a good Mod will see this and appologise...I closed a thread that annoyed me because it was a personal thing((no details))...and another Mod opened it back because it truly needed to be discussed...I was wrong and I appologised for it! I think it is fine to be a bit lenient and I think a warning should always be given!For crying out loud...I even give my kids a chance to appologise!! I dont just haul off and slap em if the cross the line! This is how I am looking at it...I am a Mom ...nothing I can change about that so...as I stated...this is MY Opinion....I also think that PMs should be used to discuss problem members have with each other not only to themselves but also in appealing to a Mod!Dont bash in threads!I will be posting about this in Admin and sending Luke...er Spitfire a PM and an E-Mail because I think this needs to be addressed.....:mad:

I would love an appologie from muzik just so i know he knows what he did to me was wrong...and to most of the other people who were banned but most of all i want him to sit back in his chair and wonder to himself...why did he become mod what started it all for him...just think about that for a bit...i made this thread to defend my self becuase i will stand up for my just rights some may think im wrong some may agree but i know i agree and to me thats all that matters...

I've had alot of experience in cleaning up forums and being a form of law enforcment on gaming servers in the past 4 years. I can say that if I had done that on some of the servers I worked on the host/admin would have chewed me out and maybe even suspended my powers for a week or so. I know that Luke isn't really the type of person who goes around chewing people out but I know if he thinks something is necessary he takes care of it...I hope he feels that something needs to be done here and it gets taken care of.

Muzik went nuts. Why the hell was I banned? Cuz I wondered why I lost my sig. Thats all I said . What a horrible excuse of moderating powers. No warning, I didn't even slip. I did nothing wrong. Ban me again Muzik, hopefully u'll get the relieved of ur duty.

The one problem is, Muzik is gone for days at a time. Then comes on once and tries to save the world by banning a handful of people. If there is a thread that requires a ban if you don't either post a sig or rate it, than that thread has to be deleted and redone. Or the moderators have to overule the initial rules layed down by Muzik. There's my two cents worth Kem, and I hope thats respectable enough.

Very true....but it is a members RIGHT to defend themselves!There is a protocal for doing this however and your best defense is *Facts* and maintaning composure when presenting your argument in an intelligent manner....but by all means...folks as members you do have rights!
It would be ludicrous of any forum to deny a protest of a Mod decision especially when older ,seasoned,and LOYAL members are involved! I have seen posts by newbs that make me cringe....but the issue here is that IMO a mistake was made and it totally inflamed half of the forum.I ask you....should this be put up with?.....No

I just didn't think I'd ever get banned, all I try to do is help out around the forums. Muzik willingly banned me and Alfzzz, and he knows what he was doing. It was to use both of us as an example. Well what he thought would be a good warning to all has backfired. We can't let him push us around the way he did. Either he apologize, actually help out on the forums more frequently, and stop the abuse...or he should be relieved of all of his powers.

Mhh ok Muzik screwed up, OK he screwed up in a rathaer large way banning people for really no reason. I have no authority over him, but in my opinion he needs to to at least be talked to (and warned) about his actions and the usage of his power. Power requires repsonsibility, and a truly responsible person owns up to their mistakes. Nuff said.

It's like when Muder banned me and that whole ordeal that followed to which Alli could only say, "He should have known better than to ban someone popular who would be made a martyr." He didn't just mess with people for no good reason...he messed with the wrong people. Trog burninate his ***. The way I feel about Muzik being a mod here is like when Luke made him an admin on WcSector...he didn't care about that site he only worried about the success of GFXSector. He didn't belong being an admin along side me on a site that he cared nothing about. I tried like hell to modify the layout Alli made so it would be Mozilla friendly. Then I tried to make a new layout but ended up quitting from stress. All I remember Muzik doing was posting some rules in the forum, that's about it. I have no problem with Muzik as a person but as a mod I do. Something needs to be, either he needs to be set straight or he needs to stay in his own forum cause obviously he feel obligated to actually work when it's his project.

Anferny you're defending someone that isn't even trying to defend himself...so what you're doing is pretty much worthless. I don't remember having the option given to me when I was a mod to pull rules out of my ***. What Muzik did was bullshit.
