Firefox loading problems~help?

For some reason, lately, my Firefox loads pages slowly. I've tweaked it out but it doesn't help really. Basically what happens is that I will click on a link or something to load the page, and in the bottom left corner (where it shows the address it's going to) it will sit there and do nothing. For example:

"Waiting for www.d2sector.net..."
"Waiting for forums.worldofwarcraft.com..."

Every few minutes it will do this, and there is no way around it. I can click cancel then refresh, or reclick the link, but it just waits again. It's like the site goes slow for only me. I've even tried going into IE and doing it, and instead of saying "waiting..." the page will just load extremely slow. I have no idea why it does this. Can anybody help?

Edit: it even did the "waiting..." problem while posting this, lol.

Your not the only one, firefox is recently getting a bit spazzy, have you installed all the recent updates for it?

Sorry bud, I also experince this same problem with that little Firey fox. So I can't help you, *sigh*.

I only find it happens here.. grr.. also sometimes while checking my hotmail inbox it doesn't load a page at all, just blank, it really makes me mad :'(

Yes all the new updates are installed.

i have same thing happen sometimes idk whats up but it sucks maybe they can come out with new update 4 it

It seems to be more during the day for me, maybe it's just because I'm on a 56k
