I like Mudvayne they're one of the more talented new metal bands. And by far have some of the most well written riffs, while simple it's basically stuff nobody else would think of. Also Queen... All I have to say is we miss you Freddy. *Holds up a lighter and bows his head in silence*

The Misfits are my favorite band, Slayer pwnz Iron Maiden (IMO)

Well, right out of the chute, my favorite band is probably Shadows Fall ATM. The War Within was just a boss record and in my eyes there's just no denying it.

But, those two bass players whip lots of rear-end. IMO, speaking of the best, you cannot forget about Stu Hamm, Cliff B[original Metallica, of course], or Steve Harris[Iron Maiden]. Eric Wilson[Sublime] also thumps hardcore. So many bass players keep the rythm and go unnoticed. Sort of sad when a guitarist steals the glory, when many bass players are great as well.

That's what I love about Flea and Les. So many know Flea but the only other member of RHCP they could name is probably Anthony. With Les he is the front man so there's no denying him when Primus or any of his other millions of bands is mentioned.

Flea is filthy, dude, and its funny cause RHCP is like the one of only bands in which the BASSIST is like the most well known. And i agree about les, he is the filthiest of all. I heard a solo by him, where he was jumping around the frets to those special points that sounds a certain way(cant remember waht they're called, my friend whos a bassist and all state musician told me about them).
