do i extract the ebd.cab onto the floppy?
#14
If your computer came with a disc, it's probably the restore disc, try booting with it in the cdrom drive.
#15
We're not doing anything illegal are we? cheshire is watching lol

Yeah i did, i told messiah what came up, its just the regulare op system cd
#16
No, its fine, it's just a bootdisk, lol. you can get a disk image from bootdisk.com if you want. Ill add you to my ICQ, ill walk you through it all.
#17
Nono, you have to reset your computer and make it boot from floppy drive. In dos mode type fdisk. It should load and if it does good, go and delete primary non-dos partition. Once done that Make a primary partition... takes a min or 2, then take out flopyy and reset computer and make it boot from CD[with windows CD in] and go through setup and shouldhave option of formating drive... if the comp doesnt boot from floppy drive then tell me.

I've done it millions of times Tongue
You shouldnt have to delete the partition if you're installing windows XP.
I wouldn't reccomend it anyways if you have a large Hard drive or it could take a very long time.
Anyways, I added you, so get on your AIM.
