Legal or Illegal

Should drugs be legalized, or kept illegal? And what about alcohol? And if drugs should be legalized, which ones? I think the war on drugs is pointless. Anybody who wants them, can get them, no matter what the police or D.E.A., or anybody tries to do to stop it. I think the money wasted on the war on drugs could be used for better things. Cops could spend more time on actual crimes. Jails would be virtually empty. Just curious how other people felt

I think cigarettes should be banned and pot should be legalized. Pot doesn't do as much damage as cigarettes or alcohol yet pot is illegal? That doesn't make sense to me. I think that resriction on drugs is a good thing but they can be very over zealous and spend more focus on drugs than things that are a bit more important.

Making drugs legal is the better choice. It would overall reduce crime, greatly reduce the death tolls, and cause less problems in troubled cities. Only problem is that there would be a whole bunch of stoned drivers, so the driver death toll rises. A stoned person with a car is just as dangerous as a hardcore drug dealer with a gun.

Alot of crime lords would be put out of business...it would bring about retalition by drug dealers. Though the economy would boom from it. Many farmers would have new things to grow but again the retalition and there would be a jump in addicts and as you said drugged out drivers.

pot isn't legal in much places but a good idea for it is to de-criminalise it, like make it so you just have to pay a fine when in possesion. nitro-oxide can only be sold to 18+ where im from but most places just let you go in and buy a dispenser and some bulbs, mix this with pot and one tripy high is acomplished. Nutmeg oh dont get me started on nutmeg. Drug laws should be inforced more.

A couple of things, pot is WAY worse for you than cigarettes, 1 joint is the same as smoking a whole pack of cigarettes, assuming the cigarettes were filtered. Second, I agree drugs and driving are a no-no. That wasn't what I was saying, there would still be D.U.I.'s, but, if I want to smoke a number in my house, who does that hurt?

Ok cigarettes have so many chemicals they are worse for the over all health of your body. Pot more affects the mind than anything. Also it leaves your system rather quickly and is far less addictive than cigarettes. So pot is not worse than cigarettes in my opinion.

Marijuana can be addictive. Not physically, but mentally.
And another reason cigarettes are legal while pot isn't, cigarettes don't affect your motor skills, or alter your state or conciousness.

Hmm, you should only be able to buy it in certain amounts at one time. that may also cut down on quite a few of the problems, but that doesn't stop people hoarding it...lol

Uhm, im a recreational lsd user, and i can safely say that i do not cahse floating heads. You cant know what its like without trying it, so people who make up shit like that cant possibly know how much control overyourself you have when Tripping on lsd.
