i think cigs should be made illegal, and drugs that dont cause people to get seriously ****ed up should be legal, like pot. by keeping pot illegal the government is only making the drug lords richer. or perhaps people should be allowed to do drugs when their way older, and therefore dont have many things that they could do either like when their retired.

if you look at history you see what happened when they tried to ban alcohol. everyone started drinking. if you ban something everyone is already addicted to (cigerattes) than sales just boost man.

just keep what is illegal illegal evcept maybe pot in the privacy of your own home (like medicle pot)

Some medicinal pot I could understand...it IS an herb. I still vote on making it all illegal without Rx. EDIT: I haven't tried drugs either, but I have been around them enough to know a thing or two...

Also don't you realise we would put restrictions on age and such? I also feel it would be good to point out that the cost of these if legalised is not a ****ing thing to talk about since we have gambling in legalised forms.

I agree with you Pan, they just seem to waste money in my honest oppinion, but I still feel that alot of drug's should be legalised and maybe just hold back some of the more dangerous one's.

I'm 13 and i promised myself i wouldnt try drugs untill i was out of college or maybe towards the end. i am only 13 and dont want to **** up my life bye getting hooked at such a young age. and i will probably try mushrooms because weed is just dumb...smoking is dumb in general i think weed is ghetto people drugs

Drugs that really effect someone's judgement should be kept illegal, hard to get, and out of the hands of the people who do not know yet know how their choices can affect someone else's life, and btw, I'm 17, and never taken an illegal drug,....i may be dumb, but i'm not stupid (not calling the people who have stupid, just making a point of their bad judgement)

Im a straight edge, ill never do drugs or drink alchohol....but coming from the general peopls view i would say its very dumb...smoking kills you and makes your life sht. It ruins peoples lifes and people around you...About the drinking ive had some personal problems with drinking...(not me drinking)

What does that have to do with anything? Simple. Legalise everything and slap a surgon generals warning on it saying its addictive and yadda yadda and let people go nuts. I would love it if I knew my friend Amanda wasnt snorting coke that was cut with clorox and dish detergant.

Personally I would rather have the goverment regulate and produce drugs than have some back door dope head growing my weed and making my acid.

Problem is that the illegal drug business is one of the most profitable businesses in the US right now and if they legalised everything all that money would go straight down the drain.

For the most part, legalizing drugs with some sort of age restriction would still totally **** up America's youth. Access to drugs would be even easier, seeing as drug dealers would have a legal backing, making it so that if a kid wants to get high, all they have to do is get an older brother or go down the street for all the supplies. That's obviously moronic.

If its legal then we dont have to worry about locking people up for 5-10yrs for possession and feeding them and all that sh!t. In the long run the goverment would make and save money.

Hell right now a convicted serial rapist spends less time in the slammer than a first time drug offender.

Tell me which one you would rather lock up longer: the rapist or the drug offender?

I can go out and rape and shoot someone and spend less time in jail than I would for carrying a dove of weed.

... and lets see where did you get this information about the times of a rapist or a drug offender? Your ***? Serial Rapists on average spend life in prison, Hard to beat that one. First time Drug offenders have about a 1-2 year prisonment. 1-2 years or life. You decide which is longer.

Well I went out and looked for the article that I used when I wrote my paper on Minium Mandatory Sentencing Guidelines which showed statistics of serious offenders such as rapist getting parole before people charged with drug offenses. I couldnt find the article but I know I damn well read and looked at statistics proving what I'm saying damn it!
