There is pretty much no such thing as a publicly available Ith maker... Any ith maker you ever see on the internet will be a fake program used to harbor a virus!

Yep. All those supposed ITH Makers are just trojans. There haven't been any public ITH making procedures/modules since the first one. As far as I know, there are no private/underground methods either, but how would I know something private?

The matrix hack/bug was the only known way to unsocket an item, it was also responsible for duping, a certain version of tradehack, some bugged items and many other things. Until another unsocketing method is discovered, there will be no Ith makers.

well that sucks. only way i know how is on open and that is done by changing the name with a hex editor even though its kinda hard to do especially since it goes through 13 char lines of re-editing.

HEX Workshop? Or a newer one....

just the standard winhex 2.0. sorta old but does the job quite well
