what is deadly strike

what does deadly strike do because i have a wepon that gives me 105% of it per char lvl.

and i doubt it's giving 105% per level? maybe 1% per level..

lvl 99 you would have a 10395% chance of deadly strike...I cant imagine you would never NOT have a deadly strike.

somehow I think your mistaken. maybe something like 1% chance per level or 1.5% (which I have never seen) but never 105% chance per level unless of course its a hack item you got on Open BNet.

Deadly Strike
This is a chance of doing double damage. This bonus is applied after skills such as Critical Strike and any other damage bonuses. Critical Strike (CS) and Deadly Strike (DS) exclude each other.

If you have a 33% Deadly Strike item, and 68% Critical Strike Skill the complete chance to get double damage is: [indent]=CS + (DS/100)*(100-CS)
=68% + (33/100)*32%
=68% + 10.56%
=78.56%

i think deadly strike stops at 100% so if u had 101% you wouldnt inflict quadruple dmg.

nope all attacks should max at 100%, im not sure about crushing blow since its 1/8 for bosses so with 100% cb u have like 100/8% chance for it to hit. 12.5 chance to hit maybe.

127% is the max you can set on hero editor I dont know what would happen if I make like 15 attributes like that.

i was sure that cb maxed at 75. . though ow shouldn't have a max, logistically, because there's no feasible way to inflict two open wounds at once, is there?

I dont think there is any way to inflice 2 open wounds in a single attack but im not sure

Does Deadly strike double you TOTAL dmg after addings Str and stuff or just the weapons damage?
