Do you believe US went to the Moon?
#1
Recently in science class we started astronomy. For the past 2 days we watched a video on the evidence that discredits the Moon landing, and let me tell you, it was pretty convincing. We then in computer class went to a website that explains each piece of anti-Moon landing evidence. And after that site I would honestly have to say that the Moon landings were indeed real. What do you think? I'll try and get a link on Monday or something if you want to see the site.

Wow.. Don't believe that shit. It's probably the same people that stated that the US shot a missile into the Pentagon and tried to pass it off as an airplane. It's just retarded.

One of the main reasons we went to the moon was to compete with the Russians. I don't think we'd have faked going to the moon just to "beat" them to it.

I think the US went to the moon just to prove that they CAN. There was no urgent reason or requirenment to be there, they just decided like "wtf lets juz go guyz this easrth is hellaz boring". And so they went just to discover that the moon is just a big rock that if already becoming populated with idiots who got nothing better to do than travel into outer space.

Ducky, we went to the moon for nothing, but don't downplay the discoveries that have happened in a microgravity environment. AKA, outer space.

No, what's it about?

It's about a bunch of kids that witness Sputnik moving across the sky and one gets the bright idea to try to get a scholarship from the science fair by building a rocket and getting out of their coal-mine town. It sounds pretty angsty when you put it in words.

I say we have been to the moon..But the very first time was a conspiracy based in Area 51..cause the flag was flapping in wind (moon no wind) and bunch o other stuff...

Yeah, at that site we went to today it has reasons to discredit the flag waving photos. =D

Well, it wasn't flapping in the wind, obviously. They didn't want to put a flag out there that didn't even show the flag as it should, so they put wires in it so that it was rigid.

LMAO, talk about being naive, of course we would have faked it to beat the Soviets in the space race and I don't find it all that unreasonable to think that we might not have landed on the moon in 69, but maybe at a later time.

LMAO, you're funny. Can you please explain to me the reasons as to why we would have needed to fake our landing?

I can read.

But don't you think the soviets would have figured it out if they landed on it themselves? If we had never been there we couldn't have staged the landed absolutely perfectly.

Damn conspiracy people, just like the ones who said that Kennedy was shot by a US FBI official, the list goes on with the conpiracy people. Of course we went to the Moon why would the Gov't spend all that time trying to get people to believe it went there (If we didnt)

Oddly enough, I've looked into this conspiracy theory alot. We did land on the moon, enough said. I'll try finding a site that explains everything.

The flag waving was due to movement of the pole. In later pictures they deliberately made it look like it was moving because they thought it looked better.

Alo, Crown, ever hear of the Van Allen Radiation Belt? It's outsidethe area of the Mir Station. HIGHLY radioactive and if you spend a little more than a fe hours there then you COULD die...
