Diablo II LoD Problems.

I was wondering whats going on, I click my shortcut to D2LoD and the game doesn't load. It acts like it is going to load it, the hour glass and everything appears, but no window pops up, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem, please.

Put the CD in the drive. Always happens to me, lol.

The CD is in the drive, and sadly I don't have my classic CD's with me so that isn't an option.

Maybe try getting a no-cd patch. It is %100 legal aslong as you own the original disc and it's not working right. I know lots of people that do this for convenience.

But I got the patch, and all the files, it just doesn't want to work for me.

have you tried making a new shortcut? Sometimes, somehow shortcuts go bad mostly due to user error but yeah they do go bad.

Eh, even when I try it directly from the .exe it doesn't work, this is really starting to make me mad.

Now it gives me an error..: "The ordinal 904 could not be located in the dynamic link library Storm.dll" - What does this mean?

get a cd or bin file and reinstall, easiest and will most certainly work

Gmail, 1gb... however, you would have to dice up the file into nifty littl 15 mb packages... then once the other side dloads it, they have to put em all together :laugh:

so you have d2loader and it will still not work? did you let it completely overwrite the diablo.exe and did you copy the sound files and stuff off the d2 lod disk.. ? that is all you should hafta do.. as long as you make sure you got those sound files it should work properly.. haha if i am confused on what is goin on jus ignore me

Make sure u have the latest directx and video drivers, and run the videotest and select the other option if u can.

i think puffen may have the right idea, mine did that until i reinstalled my video card driver.

I have everything, it worked fine until a couple days ago, the splash screen pops up, and it doesn't work. I use a PC. And if you don't have G-Mail, if I could remember my account name I'll senda ya an invite to see if you can send it.
