See what people have to realize is, almost every hacker out there has dont it themselves and now is just finding a new more fun way to play the game and to make it more interesting.

Lets just leave it at this:
Hackers are people who have done legit D2, and want to make a new twist to make it more interesting. Sure they may screw up the servers on occasions - but bnet always gets it fixed in like 1 day, or sometime 2. Thats not much is it? (except for the addicts.. and you know who you are!  ) I say leave the hackers alone! If you want to hack, study. If you want to play legit, play legit. Just stop dissing hackers and calling them noobs, they dont screw up the servers much - and they supply a sort of currency system on bnet.

Who buys CD keys? As long as wal-mart sells D2 and LoD, I'll be able to have both my comps running D2. Just rip open the package, write down the CD key, and install it under the name "Defective, return to Walmart". Oh, on a related note, I cannot get D2Loader to run multiple instances of D2 at once. How please? Also, is there a better pickit than zpickit 3.5d? if so, hit me with a URL. thanx.

it does that to me everytime i dropout or lose the connection to bnet (lost sum godly items that way) but i also have traded almost all i had for an item then dropped out, joined another game and i had all i traded away PLUS the item i traded them for!!! that was rather nice but weird..... its only happened to me once (sadly, lol) .... has ne1 else experienced that?

way cool, glad to see im not alone on sumthings and that it wasnt a one of a kind glitch.......... that means it could happen again!!!

I think i figured out how to make the game rollback, its worked 3 times for me but for some reason not any more. i was playing diablo and i was at diablo in hell and i was tring to get the quest by my self becuase everyone left so i called in a freind and we bolth kept diing alot. and i managed to get diablo almost killed, but i died and there was at least 10 bodies of mine and my freinds so my freind run to his stash put on all his spare items so he could finish him off and his invetory was full so when he diedthe items he put on from his stash poped off of him on to the ground then after diablo died we picked up all of are bodies realy fast to experience an awful lag. then after he cleared his invetory and the items he put on his body when he was already dead that poped off him he went and picked up then traded them to me these items were (shako,skulders,soj,soj) i gave him enigma X2 for those items. Then we left the game and we created new and the items that poped off him that he traded me he still had them plus my 2 enigmas!!!!
If you guys manage to get it to work please let me now. P.S tayne or someone smart let me now if that was a rollback because if it was wouldn't the enigmas i traded him be duped?? or would i have to drop trade them to get them duped?

For open duping, can't you just back up your char and then trade items, and paste your char back into the folder, do your own type of roll back? My brother and I do that all the time, although we play on LAN, not open. We used to do that on open though a year ago. Just copy your character to a folder somewhere, trade the items you want duped, and then paste your char back into the save folder in diablo ii folder. Can someone confirm that this method still works?

Actually, I believe you can... I believe I've done it before, but you would need to kill monsters naked.. Unless you died twice on purpose, and picked up your body with all the eq, and then killed things until you were right at your level and picked up your body. That should work out fine.
