Ok... so items go for items and runes for runes in new economy... so where does one find the runes?! basically just wondering if anyone had any proven sites for rune-running.... :confused:

countess runs for runes but 99% of the time its crap but tis give runes all the time.

i have this theory that might work for gettin runes, the only problem is that it'll take awhile to do......

First off get a ladder sorc who can handle countess runz in nm or hell, get a copy of mh, and do maaaaaad countess runz or get a bot somehow, then transmute these runes until u get the rune u want, then start over again, VOILA u can get ne rune u want now with HELLA time lol, this is just a suggestion but it should work fine

tis a good theory, however hell countess usually drops crap (I usually find els n tirs) if you want good runes, rush people in nm and hell (when you are strong enough) for their hellforge. On nm i usually get ums, I haven't been able to rush anyone hell yet

it doesnt have to be hell but ya u just need to get hella lower runes to make high ones, so u wanna help me do it man? i've never played ladder yet so i'll need a rush

oh one more thing, kinda a jewb question but hey... can you actually find like vex/zods and shiIt? like the really elite runes... or does everyone just find *ok* ones and xmute? if not then where? hellforge in hell? :S

hell countess can drop vex, very rarely. Zod drops randomly but never at countess. And blackdog, I'll do it with you but I'm not ladder.

Everytime i do hell hellforge, a flippin mal rune always drops..or a lum..and on NM, i always get an UM rune. Also what i've found to work better, was to completely go thru norm nm and hell before you do your hellforge drops, this for me has always resulted in bettter drops. Just a theory i guess.

Hmmm.... so basically the more chars me and my friends make... the more runes we get!!! flawless plan! then i guess i get to try every char i wanted to out and they'll rush me as an excuse for the runes ! gg nice... *off to make 3 more pali's 2 assassins a druid another necro 2 sorcs 2 barbs and a zon !!!!!!!!!*

hey n3kk1d, i'm not on ladder either, but i'm just sayin we could make ladders chars and just do nm or hell countess runz, i was thinkin one of us could be a fireball sorc and the other frozen orb ...let me know what u think

theres just one prob with fireball and orb combo, countess is immune to cold and fire. only thing to do is have a lightning element and/or a good equipped and lvld merc.

heh if i had enigma i'd be set... enigma on vengeance pali so hell countess gives no probs... but hey.. there's the problem.. i need runes for enigma so i can find runes!!! retarded isn't it?

man everytime i do hellforge both nm and hell its a crud rune i already got (dol lum lem etc.)

Damn. I can see Lem as a decent drop from NM forge, but dol? Lol. Those drop frequently enough throughout the rest of the game.

best bet for HIGH runes is hell forge considering it can drop anything, counntess has dropped good runes (vex in 1.07) and doing bloody runs/outter steppes can also help. one time after gettin a shitty io from hellforge i went outside pandemonium killed a group of guys and got an ist

Get together with a group of people you know and rush them to NM and Hell Hellforge. There is a way to bypass the ancients to get the baal quest at level 1, you know? The lowest rune I've gotten so far from Hell Hellforge was Lem, I think, and the highest was an Ist.
