Ok well this isnt soely about gore mods, its about what open wounds crushing blow and deadly strike do. I know that open wounds gives extra dmg over a period of time but how is the dmg determined? I was told crushing blow took the enemy down to half the life it has at the time of striking, is that true? And last but not least what the hell does deadly strike do? :wacky:

deadly strike is the percent chance to do double dmg

crushing blow works similar to static, except it isnt nerfed to 1/2 way in hell. crushing blow takes 1/8 the total life of a boss or player, so 8 hits kills a player. as for a boss its a few more. static, just takes down a bosses health to half way, and doesnt work on players.
deadly strike dmg is based on a persons clvl, the higher the clvl, the better.

Open Wounds
This is a chance of making a monster bleed uncontrollably. They lose health while bleeding. Open Wounds Items stack in most cases.
Duration: 200 frames (that is 8 seconds).
The damage per frame seems to be the following (where Clvl is the attackers level, that is the player's level usually): [indent]Clvl=1-15: (9*Clvl+31)/256
Clvl=16-30: (18*Clvl-104)/256
Clvl=31-45: (27*Clvl-374)/256
Clvl=46-60: (36*Clvl-779)/256
Clvl=61-99: (45*Clvl-1319)/256 [/indent]If you prefer per second, just multiply by 25:
