they teach you that the brain is faster than a calculator sometimes in elementary
i remember back in the day, the teacher would split the class into a calculator side, and a brain side. then he'd put 2 numbers on the board that you'd have to add up. if you were the calc. side, you'd have to use your calculator even if you knew the answer, and the brains....well, u know. if you don't, the side that got the answer fastest won. the brains won most of the time

and i think terminators will be an option in the armies of the future and they'll go outta control and try to eliminate all inferior beings like in RIDDlCK. and then the armies will start building the army suits like in HALO like i saw on tv and the world will unite except maybe iraq (jk) and we will have a war and our leader will be John Connor :devilish:

I'm pretty sure that the human brain will never become obsolete, because eventually you have to realize that computers can only know as much as humans, after all, we are the ones that upload our formulas and equations into the computer... And I don't think that it's all that accurate that the retina computing power should be size proportionate to the brain, it just doesn't make a lot of sense.

yes but what about machines that can learn. you can only teach a computer so much about learning but if it goes out and learns, analyzes, and understands then it would indeed become superior unless you consider the teacher more superior
