Hey. I dont know if this is a scam or not... But, I Dl'ed some MH from onlinegamehacks.com, because I was a dipsh!t and hadjust started out and didnt know about this place , and I think the MH had a trog. in it. Whenever I go to a channel I spam the hell out of it. I was just wondering if the MH had just a bot prog. in it or a trog. that will spam channels and then take my password

Europe,ladder,28.02, acc was dk-bigbrother and sry no screens. He tryed me to sell a hoto38 for gul+um but his connection or the program fkd up and i saw the normal flail. So happy that i didnt loose those , now i got to find a safe way to buy enigma. Is there any way you can surely find out if the other is using this program that changes the items b4 accept trade?

A person on in Europe Realm tryed to get me to loose all my eqipment by telling me its a dupe. Lol, arreat suppit says, you loose all your eqipment if you die so so many times without picking up any eqipment.

Brand new to the forums... finally joined after hanging about reading for some time. Anyways just wanted to post about somebody that tried scamming me earlier.

Scam Type? /dnd scam. Asked me if I wanted to join a clan shortly after entering the chat area. I listened to them for a bit and went to there op channel. It was there that they told me to put in /dnd pkrating (username) (password). I thought this was fishy so I did a help on dnd. Glad I am still getting used to things and consult the help a bunch. I left shortly after seeing this and talked crap with a friend about them for awhile.

Ok ppl are complaining that this forum is not helping but ppl are just crying about it. Well here it goes:

/dnd scam: The scammer will tell you to make a private game. He will tell you he needs a rank or something to that nature and to type /dnd *Rank *username *password. What happens when you do that is you activated the do not disturb mode and when the scammer msg's you the message will have your username and pass in the reply.

Anni/Gheeds scam: There are many version of this scam TOO MANY to name all. One popular version is to tell the other person to meet you in act 1. Stand between the fences outside rogue and one inside rogue. Drop items for gheed/anni and the walk to the other persons offer. The scammer will wait till you get far enough grab his gheed/anni and tele in town to grab what u dropped in town. In case there are new ppl Gheed and Anni are both charms and can not be seen in a trade window.

Trust Scam: In 09 this was a very popular and funny scam. It takes 2 scammers to really play it off well. 1st scammer will be the "CLAN LEADER" 2nd scammer will be a person that wants to be in the "CLAN" and the 3rd person is not aware of this scam. The 1st person has to be a trap assassin. The 2nd and 3rd does not matter. The 1st person will go outside of rogue by the wall and lay trap on each other. They will then infor the others that there "CLAN" is all about trust and to go to the other side of the wall outside and drop there gear and put it back on. The 1st scammer will do it first. The 2 nd will do the same. Now when the third goes out and drops his items the 1st person which is a trap assassin will go hostile to the 3rd person and kill them with the traps that where laid out. And bam look at all the items on the ground while you have to run across rogue to TRY to get your stuff. Not sure if that one works anymore.

theres this guy....lich-kingxx he tried doing the /dnd thing on me i said no...so he tried doing all these scams....like going near akara dropping an item and pressing alt+f1+f2+f3+F4.....closes diablo ....he tried the cube trick that makes u lose connection....he tried using websites...really big scammer

@jackass88 yes there is 2 find out if its the real item or not....if they put in the item and u think its a fake u jus tell them 2 move it around and if its still the same then its real and if it changes then its a fake....if this helped u can i get a rep?

Europe,ladder,sc,just now, ziaro_pl . The first time i got scammed,but that was a clever hack too. I taded hoto against anni.I dropped hoto and he just was next to me and grabbed it(act1 town).And i extra checked that he had no tele gear. Was only hoto34 tho so he was a cheap bastard.

another 'clan' scam i saw floating about a while ago was, you join a game such as clan members wanted, then they want you to show them your best char to see if your good enough,(casing the place before the robbery ) then they say they want to send you a application form through msn or aim, and this is usually a .exe file lol.
