Check my signature you might find something usefull and yes they way to big for sigs, biggest size is 200x500 (its huge but its not recommended) Best size 400x150 minus

Foog I like this one the most so far but I think you should have set the border to overlay white. Would have been the same color but transparent. Something like this one I just cooked up with IR.

to monotonous, or w.e. Use multicolor technique. As for sig size, thats completely wrong. You can use what ever you like. I use 350*120 and its just about perfect for anything. Go bigger if you make tech border, but smaller if its simple border with matching bg. Youres looks like you slaped some brushes on it, then used some filter on top.

Fuji- thanks for comments, I'll do that on my next abstract.

eternal- I like my monochromy (or one color-ness, if you're stupid) and I don't like your polychromy (many colors) so I'm going to stay monochromatic. and no, i did no filtering at all.

Fate - it's a nicely done render, i want one, but I'd use a different font for your name (i say that every sig you make, but this one in particular, use a pxl.) and the brushing could be a leetle lower in opacity, because it kinda looks like the render and the brushes are "fighting" to be noticed more. but nice nice work with the blending on the render, top hole blending.
