I dont think there are threads about brushes and how to use them but I may be able to help you a little bit.

Well, if anyone of you is new to sig making, you should read some tutorials on how to make'em.
My suggestions:
Sig Tutorial
Brushes
Renders
Fonts #1
Fonts #2

{How to install fonts: Extract the font you downloaded with WinZip or WinRar, then copy the Font file to C:/Windows/Fonts. It should now be ready to use.}
{How to install Brushes:
Simply copy the .abr file to: C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes}

i think he means to make a Url look like Font #1 instead of http://www.dafont.com/en
just time [ url=<link>]<Title>[ /url ] without the spaces.

matt- i don't really like that vector thing. the text is very appropriate, though. 6/10.

epiQ- it's interesting. Looks like a lava-esque background, the render could be more blended, and the text is okay. put your name on it. 5/10, good first one.

First one I like the colors and the quote.
That whole "Quote here" "Render here" thing kill it all. Add a render, or just leave it empty for a request.

death- 6/10 text doesnt match... i dun like the left side of the face being black...
