W00T! a new patch, this might get me back to diablo II for like a weekend, im sorry i didn't read the entire thread yet but what is DIablo doing in Tristram? (well a place that looks like it).

If in 1.11 melee'rs are in and casters are out, I'm pooned. Just got a ES Lightning sorc to lvl 70 and started work on a hammerdin.

Blizz and their patching disgusts me. When 1.10 came out, it deleted all of what 1.09 was about, lets hope and pray that 1.11 doesnt have the same effect. To me, 1.10 has brought the game peace, there are no more crazy and wacky bugged items and every character has the ability to be gosu (unlike 1.09 where you were either Barb, Z
on, Sorc, or dead).

If some of the rumors are true, like deleting teleport off of Enigma, and BO and BC off of CTA, I am almost certain 50-75% of the D2 faithful will put the game up for a while. If 1.11 completely ruins the game, and if the rumors are true, thats where it's headed, only noobs and people that buy their items will remain.

This is what we get from Blizz. D2 is one of the most played online RPG's, thanks to us, and we are left, days before a possible patch, wondering if it is going to ruin the game completely, or just add a boss and a few new items. I've worked hard to earn what I have, I've done countless Meph runs with my sorc, all manually. I've spent countless hours trading and trading to get what items I want, no scams. I've spent countless hours leveling up my characters, no grush's involved. If D2 is ruined by the 1.11 patch, I will leave the game for a very long time, and I'm almost certain that the people I've known for 3 years on my f list, and the people I've known for a week on my f list will too.

Like you said, they are RUMORS. NOTHING IS OFFICIAL. If anything turns out to be true and "Ruin the game" (Which it wont) then just stop moping and go do something productive. =\

Wasn't it 1.10 when ladder first started? So maybe with all patches they release they reset ladder? Also, this season has been longer than the one before, maybe they'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone and reset as well as patch.

Sounds interesting... Hope the new patch will be released tomorrow (monday) also hope that the ladder will reset. Anyone here who plays on the Europe ladder, who wants to play ladder with me if the patch comes out tomorrow? of course, softcore.

It's more fun to play more people than play alone, especially when they have invented that level requirement thing on every act.

Maybe I am just whining, and I don't know about you, but I've put 3 years into what I've attained, going on 4, and even though it's just a game, I'd like to feel that my 3 years weren't in vain, just a day before the patch.
