My Account was Hacked

well...i was on d2, made a game to trade something, some guy says il give u a good deal on this item, il msg u in 8 min about the keylog, i mean coh, around 15 min later, i log off my account try to log in, passwords been changed. godly gear, my chars, every thing.... gone, i dont know if it was him, or easy map, all i know is i quit d2.

Maybe same thing happened to both of us, i just got my shit hacked too. I had so much godlys, been trading D Keys for Hi's past 3 days, earned about 30+ hi in 3 days... Im thinkin it was that damn EasyMap tho.... were u usin EasyMap?...

i got hacked as well.. man i cant believe it... how couldnt you guys have found out about the keylogger. you have to remove the mh...anyways just want to warn you guys that there IS DEFINATELY a key logger... i just lost all my godly items, gear and everything..

One question, if it was the easymap hack. Why did you write your account name when you logged in? That's not so smart when you're using a rumored keylogger.

I used easymap and never got hacked, but even if it is a keylogger I don't see how he could get the account-name.

actualy, i deleted easy map, yet still my accounts were hacked, this is so bull shit. Y did i listen to this shit. o well at least we can sob together

That's probably because your password already was logged, but still doesn't see how he obtained the accountname.

ok if u have more then 1 account, then ur gonna switch between them. thats when you type ur account and pass... and thats he got them

He must have done all at once or someshit, but i wonder how it happend. People say no key logger, only port 1010 but i have 3 firewalls blocking that port, and on notify when sometying trys to access any por t><><

Yeah, but now when it's a new ladder and the most people usually only use one account even if it is a new ladder or not, doesn't make much sense. I wonder, why doesn't a serious programmer make a similar easymap without keylogger.

yea i run multiple d2's so i was putting in account name as often as i was password.... Hee Hee wow this is crazy shit. So sad too... i was to the point where i was going to be rich in a couple hours beyond my wildest d2 dreams.... i had finished my grief smiter build so i was gonna start trading away body parts for Hi runes...

i suggest we all reformat are computers, whipe every thing out, i deleted easy map, yet still got hacked.

That's because the keylogger already had logged and sent the password the first/other times you used it.

for me its not a big deal i didnt have anything on that account anyways. but for some reason the battlenet password recovery just doesnt work. and its been like that for the past couple of days. it seems like a bot that went around changing everyones password i assume. oh wells.
