i gona get it, spirits within was a good movie although it had nothin to do w/the actual final fantasy series. the new 1 that comes out in nov. has been told that its gona b based on 1 of the games.

Yea, I kinda figured that out when I saw Cloud as one of the characters. It looks really good too. I don't think this is going to disappoint me like spirits within lol

First off the movie the movie takes place after FFVII, every playable char will be in it (This includes Yuffie and Vincent). The movie mainly focuses on what is supposedly a new set of clones that aim to bring back the reunion. Sephiroth makes a come back as one of the trailors shows. It was probably going to come out on novemeber but they probably had some problems and they changed the release date and I guess gamestop forgot to update their release days for final fantasy advent children

Well the trailer they have on the US site says September 13 I believe. The special boxed set they have for it comes with a Cloud action figure (With his motorcycle), a special limited edition of Final Fantasy VII (New covers and a bonus disc), an animated movie about Cloud and Zach, a copy of the script, a t-shirt, and a key chain. It's quite the bundle but the damn thing is like $200.

I'd rather save all that money and maybe save up a bit more and get a ps2 or xbox 360.

I'm not paying 200$ for a Cloud/with his motorcycle, and a movie.

I paid 60$ for FFIII, I think thats the most I'm going to be spending on the FF series for a while.

I'm going to download a DVD Rip. Piracy is key.

but wut really needs to be done is a KA redone ff7 game cuz ff7 is still the greatest final fantasy game i've played so far!! and if there ever decide to do that ill buy it instantly

Square-Enix has hinted a few times toward a FF VII remake for the PS3, the tech demo was a big hint, but they still have not said whether or not they've actually decided to make the game. They did say though that after seeing how fans reacted to the demo they are considering it. But fear not for even if they don't make it they claim to have a long list of FF VII products (Like the upcoming Dirge of Cerberus and Before Crisis games).
