The online game is dumb, you gota buy your cards so you pretty much gota play online only or offline only.

I used to play, I got no one to play with now. I used to have this shop to go to but, I moved. It was realy fun. But online, no. It's just like real life, so why not find people near you who do it rather than sit at home.

I used to be way into it. I was famous at the local stores for my Grinning Demon/Havoc Demon deck... I raped with it.
I quit about two years ago. Sold a lot of my stuff for just shy of 500 bucks... Gave another 500 bucks of stuff to kids at the stores. They'll be great someday. ![]()

The pokemon tcg is awsome, I actually like it better than magic the gathering. I just have the magic online game but never got into it.

Hmm, if I had online I would teach you how to play, I am well known at stores but not in shops for my elf deck, I just get a bunch of 1/1 elfs for 1 mana out and then Triabal Forcemage and Magnify them dealing like 40 damage on my 4th turn.
If they manage to fog to prevent enough damage to live past turn 5 than I lose the game though. =/ I am getting into bruiser stratagys now more than green stuff. I am glad I am not the only one who plays it.

Hhah, I never thought of it that way, if someone sold cards in my school I would buy...Just not obsessively like some people.
I once saw a guy with an enchantress deck that he would deck himself on the 4th turn His strategy was draw cards every time he played an enchantment, first turn Birds of paradice, second black lotus (he was rich) and like 2 creaturs and an earthcraft, tap creatures to untap land, third turn some enchantress to draw cards, he had enough creatures and mana to play his hand continuously, his birds of paradice ended up with like 40 enchant creatures on it and then stuff that gave it +X +X per enchantment on it. he was nuts!

I use to play a now banned blue/artifact deck that consistently decked by the latest of 3rd turn. Had alot of mana vaults and stuff like that and some blue card that produced mana according to the number of artifacts you had in play. You play play a whole bunch of artifacts and that one enchantment then tap it all and leave all the mana floating then play a card like twidle and untap everything and re-tap it then use a draw card to force yourself to draw the rest of your deck except leave enough mana for another twiddle and twiddle again and play the rest of the artifacts to and twiddle again then tap it all and use a draw card on your opponent to force him/her to draw like 100+ cards.
Ya the deck got banned REALLY fast because all you needed to do was go and most of the time it was game. The bad thing is the deck costed like $300 to build cause you needed alot of old rare cards to make it work. Also had an insane multi color elf deck that used the old dual lands and pain lands. That was also about $300. If you cant tell I was WAY into the game at one point. Then I got bored and gave all my cards for free to two friends. All three of us together probably have now in one closet about $3,000+ in MTG cards just laying around.
