Does anyone know what the purpose of them are other then being the person in the Ubers game that didn't score the +3 charm? I heard on the realm chat channels, someone was saying that you get 3 of them and transmute for a + skills charm. If thats true, man I know someone that really got ripped off then

Thats what I was kinda thinking. I figured it was a gold star for participating in the killing of ubers and your "ha-ha" for being too slow to pick up the good charm.

I heard the SOH makes it so when you die you dont lose EXP (if your over lvl 90) but i've never tried it.

Some nut is going to save up a whole account of mules full of these things and THE day he/she puts the last one in that account Bnet will realse news about how x# gives you a one off godly weapon or something and that guy will just be nucking futs rich.

I believe the chat gem was supposed to be used to use voice on B.net, but Blizz scrapped it.

well right now.. ive read up on em alot and i dont think any1 really knows what they do... but surely they have some function... otherwise.. why waste the programmer's time... but good point with the chat gem fact... so idk...

i personally only started playing...again.. about a week ago.. but my chars didnt get deleted but i only have 2 of em so far so i dont have enough to test this whole 12 thing..

i have heard many things Ranging from differnt lvls, items and also using them as an upgrade componet.. but so far... i have found anything concrete or provable, so alas i can shed no light on this subject

i bet we have all lost enought exp to lvl a 99 altest twice.. maybe more...depending on how many chars you have made.. yea Tap.. thats still sounds good.. like an EXP refund..lol

what would it do on hardcore if this were true? i dont think they would have an item that worked for sc but not hc..

blood angel the chat gem thing is that lil blue thing when you enter a channel its directly under the scroll bar its like in the middle of the screen you click it and it goes purple
