Why is smite palla so popular?

I have read true all this smite-palla thread's now, and i cant understand why smite-palla is so popular, is the charchter build so good?
I think i cant even understand what the charchter do?

I have read that the most of the peoples want a smite-palla for hunting the key, but is this the only reason, or?

eZ Answer for that. They Can PK Any char. They Can PvM Anything (except maybe if iron maiden is cast). Smite NEVER misses and CANNOT be block, unlike guided arrow. And it does insanely high dmg.

I made a smiter, to do the ubers. If someone told you they are good for keyhunting, they lied, I MUCH rather prefer a hammerdin over ANY other class or build for keyhunting.

For uber trist however, smiters are teh godly. I can take out each uber trist boss with my smiter in under 45 sec each, as long as I can evade minions long enough, and my leech keeps me full of life

smiters are really good but i think the main reason they became so popular is the ability to solo ubertrist, but i think noone really likes smiters in the 1.10 patch

smite is also very fast...

smiters only loose to ww barbs.

and if you use a zakarum shield on a smiter, it always does the same dmg... up to 12-12k per hit... before the torch came out.

*Can you find this key's in non-ladder? Or do you have to be a ladder-character?

u can find the keys anywhere... unless it is stated that the torch is a ladder only item.

Smiters are really popular now with all the damage boosting mods the new runewords have, particularly ones that go on armor and/or shields. Plus the fact they always hit, with lifetap on, they are practically immortal.

However, Smiters still have weakness', they can't fight mobs very well, it takes them forever to kill a physical immune, and the knockback from smite is annoying. It's like trying to Zeal with a knockback weapon.

I remember back when Smiters were frowned down upon in pvp though, if you smited in pvp, your oppenent would shout "NOOB SMITE!", now if you pvp and smite, everyone just wants to avoid you cuz your always gonna hit

wrong, there was lots of smiters in duel games on uswest ladder, it was my fav char.... so dam deadly :laugh:

go look up the torch stats... it should be in the arreat summit library by now...

www.battle.net/diablo2exp and if the torch says "ladder only" then you cannot find a torch in non ladder.

no the torch is non ladder as well and smiters will be the new wave of pvp chars in this patch if not already like the hammerdin pallys just own all there is to it
