The-Grim-Reaper's Earthshifter Druid

ok. so i was bored and looking at items when i saw earthshifter thunder maul. it gives +7 to ele skills and a SHIT load of dmg. so i just put this build together for any1 who wants to try it and unleash the true power of the Earthshifter.

the purpose is to try and fuse elemental power(basically hurricane) with a shapeshifter(fury werewolf).

stats
- str: ur gonna need a lot seeing as how earthshifter str req is 253
- dex: none. u get ar from items and u dont have a shield
- vita: rest
- ene: none

skills
- max hurricane (cold dmg and freeze opponents around u)
- max fury (ur main attack)
- max lycanthropy (lots of life)
- max cyclone armor (i chose to max this bcuz u can pre-cast it before shifting to sorb elemental dmg, AND it allows ur hurricane to last 50 seconds other than 12 seconds which helps a lot so u dont have to keep recasting)
- 1 into werewolf (with +skills & gear u should have enough ias to reach 7fpa)
- rest in Oak sage (need life or ull be dying quickly cuz no block)
- pre-reqs

gear
- weapon: Shael'd Earthshifter (build revolves around this weap and u need shael to get 7 fpa, without it u wont get past 9)
- helm: ber'd jalals
- armor: archon enigma (ur really gonna need the str boost)
- ammy/rings: angelics
- gloves: perf up'd bloodfists (ias/fhr/life)
- belt: 15 dr dungos
- boots: 15/15 treks

- switch: cta & spirit

inventory
- anni/druid torch
- 9 shapeshift gcs +life/str
- 9 20life/5all resist scs

breakpoints
- with shael'd earthshifter & 10 ias from bloodfists, u need a lvl 11 werewolf to reach 7 fpa. this shouldnt be too difficult bcuz u should have a lvl 21 werewolf with 1 skill in it, if u follow this guide.
- u need 86% fhr for 3 frames: 30(jalals) + 30(bfists) + 10(dungos) + 20(treks) = 90 w00t

conclusion
- order of operations: switch to cta/spirit. cast bc & bo. cast oak sage then switch back. cast cyclone armor then hurricane. shift to werewolf form. run around and pwn everything. Smile

keep in mind
- this is just a build that i thought of out of the blue. its just for ppl who are bored with the normal builds and want to try something new. its not meant to be the best pvp or pvm but i think it has some potential in both if u follow this guide.

i suggest no fury/ no hurricane, But fire skills instead and fireclaw, and ele GCS, then use all of that stuff u said, if should be a pretty godly build if u do it correctly, but there is also the fact that the earthshifters dmg wont really matter all that much, so maybe me saying this is wrong 'still a godly build'

could u ellaborate on fire skills & fire claw build.. would u pre-cast armageddon then switch to bear mode and use fire claws?? bcuz u cant cast elemental skills after uve become a bear. also armageddon isnt a synergy of fire claw, so would u max that and take away one of the synergys?? if u do then im guessing ud have to max fissure to allow armageddon to last 50 seconds other than 12 seconds which just runs out too quick.

armageddon isnt too powerful anyways and to take away a synergy for fire claws would make it really weak.. and to take away one of fire claws synergys just for that would be pointless. ud also have to put pts to pre-reqs for the eniter rite side of the elemental tree. plus this build would be MUCH too slow for a fire clawer. just a pure fire claw would be much better.

i thought this build would be nice cuz fury does a ton of dmg, plus ud have the extra cold dmg that freezes opponents making them slower. and ud have nice life and elemental sorb.

OK.

1) Armageddon may be cast in any transformed state, Including werewolf, werebear, and, yes, the delerium bone fetish.

2) Yes, armageddon is weak. Yes, removing one of the Fireclaws synergy makes the build weaker. Yes it would be pointless. WAY too slow for a hybrid fireclaw. Agreed, but that defeats the purpose of the build, doesn't it?

3) Yup.

On using armageddon - Don't, its too weak

On using Fireclaws - Dont unless you go pure FClaw

On using Maul/Feral Rage - MAYBE consider pts in Feral Rage if you're wolfin it, but maul seems useless here.

On using Fury - Yes. Plain and simple. Its extra hits follow a very low frame attack speed and would help counterract the effects of having to equip a slow maul. The only problem here is getting interrupted mid attack. If you get hit more than once in a fury cycle, it would seem that the remaining hits wouldn't work. COntinuing to hold the fury button will only cause you to miss over and over and over. This is why elemental damage added to each attack is helpful. The elemental burst animations let you know you hit th monster, similar to using a Fendazon.

All in all it's a good idea. Maybe if the forum collaberates a little and has a few healthy discussions about it, we could make this build highly viable. In fact, I hope it could be a good (no,no,no... Great) build, cuz it sounds kinda fun.
