Ive been going to gym alot lately all i did was bench press basically, was working on my chest. My record so far was 45 and a 25 on each side. 140 + the bar (45) = I do about 185 lbs.
What was your record.

305. but hardly a superman compared to other football players.
not to mention i couldnt' do it now. i haven't lifted in 3 years.
haha i can see this turning into a testosterone filled "STOP LYING NO YOU CAN'T" thread. but lemme ask you thi s, how big are you. 180 isn't bad for a 16 year old but it also depends on how big you are. ideally you should be able to bench your weight and i was just barely over when i hit my max.

I am 140 pounds and around 5"10''.... How about you?

right now i'm right at 300 5' 10". when i was playing football i held steady at 280ish. i was pretty weak compared to the other guys tho. all my strength came from my legs.

well i'm definitely not superman...but i definitely do more than 250. i havent benched under 250 since my soph year of high school. right now i am at about 320. and i weigh about 240.
hoping to get to 100 pds over my weight soon. either by losing weight or getting stronger, or a combo of the two
oh yea and i disagree with you deadly, i think that you should be able to bench at least 40 pds over your weight. thats what i call my 'minimum'. if i ever go under it i go nuts with a crazy diet and workout routine

well i mean thats just your personal preference, a person is said to be "in good physical condition" when they can bench their weight. i am definetely not "in good physical condition" because i probly couldn't hit anywhere near 305 now. i'd be happy to get 200 on my first try. i need to start going to the gym but its just so damned expensive.
now if you wanna have a leg strength contest... :p
before i hurt my knee i was squattin 700 which is all the school would allow me to do for insurance purposes. when you carry almost 300 lbs with you everywhere you get some hella leg strength. i'd have one hell of a vertical leap if i dropped about 70 lbs

most i've ever squatted was 515. i've done like 850 for 3 sets of 10 on leg press though. but that was before i fractured a vertebrae. i havent squatted since. i'm guessing i could still do at least 400

My legs are really strong i squat around 500 which i find amazing for my weight class.

I don't know how to convert into pounds, but I am 17 (turning 18 on the 30th) and I can bench 80 KG on my chest... I weight about 75 KG so it's barely over my weight...

I weigh 135 and I maxed at 150 a week ago. I'm glad to see that no 11 year old kids came in here and tried to pass themselves off as the hulk.

im 16 and im about 170 i can do 250 but i didnt put that because i havent tryed in awhile.
OH And MY Legs are massive i can do like 600
