This happened five minutes ago. A guy ACCOUNT NAME : Unfinalo USWest NL
came into my game and asked my pass. Didn't give it to him. Next game I joined, he was there, with another character from MY ACCOUNT.
I tried to login to account again, password is gone. So is my other account.
What can I do? I had shitty stuff by everyone here's standards, but I worked FOREVER!
Anything I can do, or you can do to him? Unfinalo is his account on USwest non-ladder.

Have you downloaded anything for d2 like a so called "dupe" program or anything of that sorts? cuz if you did you probably downloaed a keylogger. in which case you need to reformat your comp. Because if you did registar your email it wont really matter because he will see that and change it.

See thats so odd.. I have been hearing alot of that happening latley. You need to go into more detail of what happened.. And the best thing would of been to take screen shots of him asking you that and him in the next game and then call bliz up and tell them what happened and see if they could explain it to you.

I didn't download any dupe files or anything...
I did register with emails, and I sent a request for a new password, got an error message back from blizz.
He joined the game (It was a lowbie Trist run), he was level 84. We played, he didn't say anything for a bit. After a few minutes he asked "what's your password"? I answered something offensive....
He left, and I continued playing. In another minute or so he came back using one of the characters from my account, which I was logged into at the time...two chars at once...
I left to see if maybe he was spoofing or something, and when I tried to log into my account "Wrong pass". I immediately tried to get it to email me new pass...and got the error email.
My brother was playing as well at the time. he didn't converse at all with the guy, and a few minutes later he lost his account as well.
Additional Comment:
Is it possible for someone to have given me a keylogger in some other way? And any way to search and destroy it? And if I did have one, would it be on both computers? (My bro plays on one, myself on the other).

well you most likely have a keylogger, or your brother could have given or let out enough info. to a person. but what do I know? I'm just guessing.

could of just brute forced your acc's. there is a program out now with less time to brute acc's. As to the old one that would take a few days this one take's a few minute's. Then he would just start dow your /f list and brute them. It possible.

A few minutes to brute force? That's impossible! Last time I checked, after ~5 tries to get into an account, it gets locked for a while.

IF i was u i'd try and brute force his acc/t.. other then that u coudl got to blizz rep and talk to them but they never do much for me. IF u dotn want to try thast then reformt ur pc's and then reinstall diablo and be more carfull about what u download and who ur friends are.

You got an error when reseting your account cause some e-mail clients ie. gmail do this:

there are bruteforcers yes that could crack acc passwords... but it think acc gets temporary closed after 5 wrong tries. and there is also a program for game passwords
