I know that you can get to appropriate strength with anni and torch, but i am wondering if the item works if it is equipped on ur character, but it is "red"
For example, my druid has 137 strength, i need 156 for spirit monarch. i take off my arachnids mesh and add +20 strength belt. I equip the spirit and then take off the strength belt. since spirit has no +strength mods, it turns red once i re-equip my arachnids. The druid looks as if it is not wearing a shield and damage does not go higher. my question is does this still add all the mods of spirit even though it does not show?

yip when it goes red its like you not wearing the item at all, you get none of the mods

u sure? i see some bugged zealers/zons/babas that look like they aren't using anything but are killing people still the same.
like smiter who is wearing greif but looks like he is using a fist instead
zon shooting arrows outa her hand
etc.. like that

you do too get the mods. My wizspike was in the red for a while and I still had fast hammers. Extremely. like, 2 at a time. So you do get the mods. Just like it doesn't show it if you use strenth charms to get up to the req. strength.

Try looking at something easy to notice like the added def or something. I'm almost positive the mods stay though. On this topic, you can bug the system with mercs along this same line. For instance, I wanted to give my merc an eth Veil, eth Bonehew, and Levi none of which he had enough base str for. So I gave him a crap helm that had 20 str and piggy backed the other items on - worked fine.

only other players can't see your gear. you will be able to. and no, if it's red you don't get the mods. all of my players are str bugged.
put it this way, if you can't see the item, your not using it.

yeah but how do u explain zons shooting arrows with no bow? I'm sure almost all of us have seen those.
I dueled a barb that seemed to have no gear (no helm, armor, shield, weapon) He was able to kill a fully equiped smiter with exile and last wish pb (i saw the auras)
yeah i know he could have sc's/lc's/gc's but that won't kill a smiter

i think that the best way to test this is to test it with enigma...i was gonna say it but pyrocrow said the enigma thing b4 me lol...so if u can still tele with ur enigma red, then most likely this str bug works....also i saw this barb who was completely naked and he was owning ppl in 1 hit...he even boasted bout it, he said "ill own u in 1 hit" to ppl and he did lol

the zons w/ no bows, YOU cant see their bows but THE PERSON THAT MADE THAT CHAR can.you do this by adding str charms not replacing items for str.so if u get nked then leave,ur items disappear.in other words dont die

dying with full bugged gear will screw u over? what about 1 thing that u can fit in ur inventory?
i plan to add spirit monarch by using +strength belt and rings, then when it's on i take belt and rings off. if i die won't the shield end up in my inventory?

lol that would suck...if im tooooooo bored ill test this theory lol...since im making a new char ne ways ima make sure i dont add enough str for some armor and try this technique out......THAT IS ONLY IF IM HECKA BORED lol

i know for sure that when it is red and if u look at ur attributes, the added dmg is not in there. maybe it is like the smiter dmg? i will test it on my druid as soon as i get to play lol

what about when you die. when you die how do you pick up all your items if you need other items to equip them. then if you click your bod then only pick up part of your gear then you die again. now you have 2corspes with gear on them so if you leave then you lose items on one of the corpses right?

lol if you have no room all items disappear. Its bad really but the damage wont show nor will the other attribs. Its hidden

i'm 80% sure that even though the item doesn't show and dmg, attributes and others dont show, it still will add cuz half the people dueling look like that
