How do you "play" a hammerdin

ok well i just rounded up full gear for my hdin but i was wondering how you "play" one. Do you set blessed hammer on left click attack and then conviction on the right under tele? please help me out here

Yes, put hammers on left click, and concentration on the right as f1. When you need to tele, switch to tele (f2 for me) tele on the monster, switch back to f1 and hold shift and click.

just dont put holy shield on a hotkey, and put blessed hammer on left and concentration(f1)/teleport(f2) on right. use the mouse wheel to switch between tele and concentration, much faster than clicking f1 or f2

yes do that but the mouse sometimes go 2 in 1 so i do f1 f2 etc

Exactly, they lag so 2 + hammers come out.

Actually it's a bug, where it looks like they cast 2 hammers from your client-side, on the server side and the client side of the hammerdin, it does not show/effect anything, so the hammerdin's 2nd hammer is not seen by him but seen my everyone else, and the 2nd hammer does nothing.

err i have 7 or 8 hotkeys f1-f8

concerntration on f1
redemption on f2
tele on f3
holysheild on f4

vigor on f5
nothing on f6
+ skill thingy on cta on f7 and
battle orders on f8

i use the buttons probally cause i use too many hotkeys for the scroll also the 2x hammer lag bug thingo doesnt work

Additional Comment:
also have hammer always on left click unless using charge / vigor for mfing (if you dont have much mana for teleing e.g. against countess)

besides you can only use auras on the right hand side unless you bug the game.

i was thinking something like this

f1-vigor
f2-concentration
f3-tele
f4-redemption
f5-holtshield
f6-battle command
f7-battle orders

i never use buttons i always scroll skills. as long as i have tele next to concentration and redemption i dont see the problem. but i do have to hold shift to shoot hammers can't i just left click? or is that only to spam hammers on bosses,baal runs, dueling?

shift is a hammerdins best friend... without it means your stuffed...

dont bother playing without a shift key... you need it to spam hammers etc

also its useful because you dont have to run next to each monster then click their name so shift is essential
