i cant get on useast and niether can a friend wtf is happening?

Yes, it is down. It appears they are doing the same thing to USEast as they did to west. I'm going to wait until morning to see whats going on.

What is a 'botnet'?:

A botnet is a server consisting users who are trojaned, thus allowing the person who controls the trojan to use commands. The 'master' has control over there persons internet basicly allowing them to DDoS Servers, IP Address, Websites, you name it.

What is wrong with east? I can get on the other servers?

A: No, I personally witnessed the servers be attacked by a botnet.

Q: Is this fake?
A: No this is 100% Not fake, google 'botnet' and thats about 85% of my proof.

Q: So the severs were attacked?
A: Yes the servers were attacked.

Q: How long will east be down?
A: From the amount of attacks, im guessing a few hours.

Q: Can it be down alot longer?
A: Yes.

Q: Will the servers suck now that they were attacked?
A: No, the servers will not be any worse off than they were, infact, if anything they will be better off after the servers internet is restored.

The botnet attacked the main IP Address of the USEast servers with over 1.6k Users, with over 1000kb/s Attacks. The servers have basicly been DDos's google this, im not explaining it to much.

Can't belive it still isn't fixed, those hackers must have Blizzard busy.

it sux so bad and i got bored so i decided to try open battle battle net and hack a char but its down too...
so i tried d2relived and its realy not that bad (sry if i sound like im advertising)
i hope its up soon
