sting's help please

Hey i followed that guide on the stings maphack but whenever i press reveal act it says something about a mismatched game version, does anyone know how to fix this?

lmao i dont understand why there are so many threads the exact same as this. i have alread answered this problem 5 times. just to start over fromw/e you have done alred just delete it and everything with it. then redownload it. extract to where ever you want. then run the exe. click options. then under reveal act (not plugin) select the 2nd option which says auto reveal act w/o iscan. then click okay. now when ever you run mh it will automaticly reveal act for you and you dont have to click anything.

i tried to re download it but when i dl it and try to open the winzip file it says i have to re download it because it didnt work i re downlaoded it 10times same thing

when you say open winrar file... do you mean extract? if not then you need to extract first.

this is what you do. Go get yourself winrar insted of winzip, I think you may like it better. Install winrar then download the maphack to your desktop. Open your program files folder diablo II. Drag the maphack zip file into the diablo II folder. Right click on the zip file and click the extract here option in the menu. Open the maphack folder that was extracted and then open the bin folder. Delete the d2hackmap.dll that your supposed to delete. Open then the exe to run maphack. Goto options and select the disable auto load option, select auto reveal without Iscan and where it says plugin file name delete the d2maphack.dll entry. Now minimize d2 when ur in a game and run the maphack from the bin folder. It should now pop up and run without saying anything. Maximize d2 and continue playing, it will reveal act automatically everytime you enter a game. For those who wonder why notepad opens when you start up maphack just let it be.

Additional Comment:
sometimes when you enter a wp it wont have map revealed, simply wait a few seconds or start walking/tele around and it will run.

Are we all sure he was WinZIP? He might mean an unknown file type error.
