Help me out with this Dupe

ok I have read some of the other Threads and all of that and people said give the item you wish to dupe to the person lag game so it doesnt save and alt+f4. Correct? if it isnt please correct me and explain on how to lag game i ussually never lag. or maybe u guys got some nice methods or something

well, alot of people say it does work, you need to create A ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF LAG for this to work, it overloads te server for your game, it doesnt save, you get the item back because the server re-rolls back bout 5-8 mins

Omg dudes, as i said before NONE LAG DUPE METHODS work, why u might ask, well because when the game gets Very laggy as i have tried before about 15 times it will kick you out of the game so u wont be able to lag the game and dupe

actually i got the lag dupe to work by accident, i duped a tp i had on my lvl 1 guy... was sweet

lol i have been in the dupe kind of lag a lot. its just i never have anything to dupe. i know, however, because my skills and stuff roll back when i leveled up =/

Lag dupeing does work, how it does i'm not sure but i duped a P emerald on accident.

Lag dupe works basicly by rolling back your char. You lag the sever then drop your items and force exit. When you exit your char does not get saved. Thus when you access your char again it still has the items while you really dropped them.

welp, i guess you just aren't doing it right b/c alot of people including myself have gotten it to work

I've never really tried the dupe itself, partially because I don't even have anything worth duping, partially because I don't really have any method of lagging myself or anyone to dupe with. But I think it would work. Everyone gets random rollbacks sometimes, caused by lag. If you gave it to a friend and then you lagged yourself out, you'd get a rollback and get the item back, while your friend has it too... I don't really see why that wouldn't work. You're probably just doing something wrong.

I think you should get some sort of lag for staying in 1 same game for a very long time

I accidently duped my smiter set up.
I was in uber tristram and it started lagging really bad, I wasnt doing it, but it was lagging really bad. My friend said I was still in uber tristram but I wasnt I was in town. I got c/i and when i logged back in, and rejoined my game where my friend was still in. He said that the game said (My Smiter's Name) was slain by an evil force when he went to town my body had popped in town and all my stuff was laying on ground but I still had everything on my character, but my whole set up was laying on ground by malah in act 5. I think the only true way to dupe is to take advantage of the times it lags, and abuse it and dupe. Any time you reach more than 3-4k ping and you can still drop items, (cause sometimes u cant drop items) but the times that you can drop items during this 3-4k ping. Thats when duping works.

Back in .09 there was a sweet program called ShadowMaster...you could download your chars from the realms, edit with HeroEditor and put it back on the realm...but the lag method still works, tried it for myself. Just get into a cow game with a strafe zon. Put the items you want to dupe on this char. Then, you create MASSIVE lag by strafing but you need hellfire torch. Then, another person has to try to log on onto your amazon. If that works, you desynched from the server with the zon which is lagging the cow game. The other person drops the item in the other game and a 3rd person picks them up. Don't stop lagging the other game! Then, when the 3rd person left the game, you can slowly stop to lag the game. And boom you duped the whole things on the amazon!

You need to make enough lag to unsync you from the game, but not enough to disconnect you.

ive coulda been able to also... sometimes ill play... sell some stuff... lag out... rj the game... and i got the stuff back again... so ya it does still work..

Obvisouly you dont no what your talking about some of my friends lag dupe on a dialy basis.......and i have a few who try ^-^ (siris *couf couf*)

I have duped items 2-3 items by mistake.Once I was transfering a shako from my sorc to my necro with a friend.I gave the shako to my friend and I log out and relogin with my necro.He gave me the shako nad when I rejoin game with my sorc the shako was still there and I didn't lag even for a few seconds.
