I have never used a bot before but I am looking to start using a bot to baal run/ mf and i was wondering if this is the best bot to use? Is this safe for ladder on battle.net?

I know both dumb questions but im wicked new to this....

Also, did i miss something.... Where do i download this bot?

Ok, the best bot to use for mf runs is mmbot. This one cannot do baal, the only ones that can will get you banned *most likely*. go back to D2sector. net, and go to the download section for diablo (on the left side). There should be a section for BOTS. find mmbot and the mmbot mod. You need both files, one is the executable and the other is the mod file to fix the graphics for the bot to work. There is an included setup file, and in the forums, in the bot forum, mmbot sub forum there is a stickied setup... prolly by shift that should be easy enough to follow. Are you going to be using a sorc, pally...?

Because the default script included with the download is for a light sorce. Light sorce is the char of choice too. Good luck with the bot. Read the instruction files and you should be able to get it up and running on your own in about an hour. If you have trouble after going thru the instruction manual, then try searches here, any question has probably been asked. Please post your questions as a final effort, not a first.

or if you have a fire sorc or blizz sorc you can goto mmbot.net and goto sorc scripts and get the one that fits you best. after that all you need to do is set up the keys and your ready. i use a fire sorc with a eldritch/pindle script and i have been botting for about 14 hours straight. i use my merc who is equiped with eth gaze, fort, eth doom cryptic and it all seems to work fine. when they are immune to fire then my merc kills then fast because of his 9k damage.

Ok i got the bot to set up ok.... is it dectable? Also i got the halls of pain waypoint, so i cant pindle, right? I also notice that i kill eldritch ok but i always chicken when i got to kill shenk.... what can i do to change this?

Also how do u set up for trav?

mm.BOT can only run Pindle, Shenk, and Eldritch, it can do trav but your light sorc will have to have infinity or you need a hammerdin. You can download it in the downloads section. Yes it is safe.

Well can i do pindle even though the red portal is closed?

you need portal to be open to do pindle. also the download lik under diablo is now fixed so you can just click that instead of going to d2.sector.
