I just remebered one day how me and my friend were looking up some stuff for morrow wind when he got an im from one of the AIM bots. He thought it was a real person for a little while until it told him that it was an experimental AI bot. After that we sort of had a lot of fun asking it pointless things like, how high Everest was, or what the approximate population of China was. It would respond with a "I have not been programed for that" or ask me how my day was. Has anyone else had an experiance like this with a IM bot?

There is a cool bot called SmarterChild on MSN. I can get you the email if you want, I don't remember it off hand. It MIGHT be [email protected]

yeah once me and my friend sent it to someone and they didn't even know it was a bot for a little while. i think it was suppose to last a few minutes. after we im'd him and told him it was us. was pretty funnylaugh:

It says that its a bot when you im it... it says that it will be advertising and such also.

There's an interesting AIM bot for pranking your friends (well, if it can be called a prank)...Just search Aim-prank on google and I think it comes up. It's really quite amusing at times. You can enter in what questions you want it to ask for some original/personal responses (say, if you're doing it to a friend. It might creep them out a tad. X3) It's pretty neat, just don't enter in your own screen name or the screen name of a friend for the bot to use, or it takes it. O_O;
