Did my first Uber Trist!!

I just did it and died about 20 times from freakin meph, but got a 20/18 baba torch

yeah Meph is the hardest to do but congrats on doing trist by urself the first time. you should get a better gear to be able to do it easier

My gear was Greif, Duress, Um Zaka, Shako (not socketed), Aldurs boots, 1 raven, 1 dual leech res and str ring, Tg, res charms, life charms, highlords. Oh and i don't have salvation...

Edit: Yeah torches are s*** on Europe!!!!

shit, first time i did uber trist i didnt know wtf to expect so i ran in with a hammerdin and died like 4 times off the bat. this was way before the smiter craze so i figured i would give it a shot

The first time I ever did Ubertrist was with a MF sorc. It was right after the update, just the next day, so I had no idea what to expect. Had to call in some reinforcements, still got the torch though

First time i did it was with my java (now i have hammerdin) and got decent sorc torch

next time, godly druid torch and ok barb torch

Oh, i just wanted to add something to make doing Meph a little easier just make or trade for a Treachery runeword there cheap and have the helpful ability 5% chance to cast level 15 Fade on being struck (60 all resist and 15 DR) which is very helpful indeed.

ok well if you want to die less here are my gear suggestions:
duress--------->Coh(more res, all around better for you)
greif------------>Last wish pb(life tap, fade, 60-70cb, might arua, very good pvm wise)
adular boots-->eth treks(str,vita, poisen res,fhr, pretty much just plain better)
um zaka-------->eth vortex exile 40+res(zakas good and res is nice but exile has more defense/dmg[more of a range though i think], arua,life tap
shako----------->coa(more res, dr very good helm) or um the shako
gloves u have->dracs(str, life tap)
dual leach ring--> bk ring(life, skills, leach unless you need the str but this other gear on you probably wont)
MAYBE* hl-------->maras(more res but hl has lite res so meph is the same and also hl has that ias which your missing when you lose greif)

smiters can wear a few combinations of gear its all synergy(the gear). this is what i think you'd do best in though.

you died because the gear you mentioned you had no lifetap. life tap saves your ass in uber trist and some people say greif over lastwish but lastwish has more cb so you don't need that duress and can switch to coh. also that fade is good bonus and better chance to cast lifetap is always good. go with greif for pvming though. i know some of this gear is really expensive but this is probably your ideal changes if you want to make your smiter godly(sometimes i know people wanna concentrate on other chars but i like to completely finish a chars gear before i start another)

strategy~lure them out and 1v1 them(i do mpeh first) and keep them away the posrtal. i ussually lure them into a corner. also make sure all you other friends leave. if you die and wanna get your bod, if the game has been up for about 10mins+ then it will stay alive with a player in it for a little bit so just quit and rejoin quick. but if you do this a lot(every min+) you could get temp banned but with improved gear this shouldn't worry you =)

That gear would be expensive, its really bad on Europe because there isnt a lot of duping to bring runeword prices down.
