looks like u got a random picture and juss smudged it, looks like no effor was required and the color was already self made, but thats juss my opinion, i like the text though oh and u made it look nice so ill give it a 7.5/10

man SCREW THAT. . . it took tons of effort. . i worked on that sig for 2 hours... ok well actually i fell asleep 5 minutes into making it and woke up like 2 hours later and finished it for another 5 minutes... so ok. your right it took little effort. all it is is a smudge tool and a lens flare... but also look at the piece by Marcel Duchamp when he just layed a urinal on its side and called it art. lol . that didnt take much effort.. not that i even come close to being Marcel Duchamp or anything but yeah... ok i have no point in this post at this point .. lol .. oh yeah .. the random picture thing.. isnt that what sig making is all about. its not as though im exibiting my true artistic tallents to their full extent in a 300x120 pixel piece of random crap on a web site.. and dont take this wrong.. im not pissed or crying or anything like.. its so hard to tell someones tone of voice while typing so i just want to make that clear.. dont be offended or anything... in not a total jackass.. just a partial one. but yeah i have lost a lot of interest in sig making over the past few months. it just seems so trivial to me. i would rather make large pieces of print media and focus on my illustrating skills and 3d animation. well enough of my random ranting.

UGM.. i like them . the sepia tone one is my favorite out of those posted. good job on them.

fatman.. im sorry.. your current is kind of cluttered. i understand that it probably took a lot of effort on your part so i can apreciate that. its just to much for my eyes. on the plus side the colors are nice and they are complimentary and i like the fonts you use for the FM.

Good job i would say, little pixelly around edges but nicely dont with good light effects and brushing and what looks to be smudging 8/10

it's not bad but i think it'd be a little cooler if you found a diff char or one standing in a different position or somthing it just looks too much the same

FM - I like it to be honest. Its just the border that doesent match with the rest. 8.5/10.

Nemesis - Its ok, kind of plain and the text is horrid. Brushing can be a bit better, the render is a bit to small, other than that its pretty good. 6/10

You know, I find it rather funny that you guys are doing brushing sigs. At most graphics forums, that style is now whored(overused) and people would really criticize you for it. It's almost like different forums are behind in sig styles. In any case, most of the sigs on these few pages are pretty good. Nice job you guys, try expanding from using brushes in your sigs though (trust me, it really helps from what I have seen).

vrooooommm!!!.. is that a lotus or something? cool sig ugm. im not a big fan of the car sigs but its nice. a tip for the mirror text effect.. you can rasterize the font and then transform / perspective to give it a more realistic reflection. still looks nice though. good job.

Heres my newest, I played with some colour blending and what not. I think it turned out half decent. Made it for a friend. Only beef I have really with it is the border.

DTB- It needs a border, don't bevel the render as it appears you did, but do blend the render. The bg is a bit plain and the colors don't match too well, also one of the big "no-no's" don't outer glow black text. It doesn't look good. Don't get down though, it takes a while to get good at sigs. Took me about 3 months before I could make them like I do now.

Ok thanks for the input, and don't worry about hurting my feelings or something like that, cause we learn from mistakes, and like I said I am just playing around with new stuff right now. Also I have made it my goal to make something that stands out. And not in a bad way rofl. Well I probually won't be on tomorrow, since it is my birthday and I have a job interview first thign in the morning lol. Well thanks again for the input.

ya I drift in and out. I'm gonna try to get into gfx again then I'll be more active. Sorry to bail on the gfx tournament. heh.

welcome back pyro. your here about as much as i am lol. well dtb you need to be gentle with those layer effects. probably shouldnt bevel your text untill you read a tut or something on how its properly done to make it look good and match your sig more. also using outer glow on text isnt a no no in my eyes, you just need to know how to use it and where. if your puting dark letters on a dark background then you would use an outer glow on the text to make it stand out. just dont use the default outer glow. its usually ugly as hell. change the outer glow color and settings. also change the globals around a bit. it all helps. like i said .. the best thing is to use the blending options in moderation.. just like the filter. also try to not use brushing. some people end up using it as a crutch and dont really get into what photoshop can actualy do with derfaults. just try to find some default sig making tuts and you practice , practice , practice. if you have any questions about stuff then just PM me.
