Legit Dupe? $100??? Should I....

Hey Guys I need your help, so I found this dupe method on ebay which the owner says he'll sell it to me for $100. He's not willing to show it to me in USwest, but he is willing to show it to me in USeast ladder only. Does this sound like a scam? I'm willing to buy a dupe which will last all this 1.11b patch and the next patch as long as it works and is a legit copy.

Maybe he has no characters on uswest and does on useast, maybe he needs a certain character to use that has the item already, could mean the merc dupe method...I dont think you should buy it.

Anyways the fact is, if he's a legit duper go to his game and bring a rune he would not keep a lot of, for example tir, and tell him to dupe that say 10 times (Just incase he has 2-3 of everything). If he does that, try another rune that's isn't kept too often. If he does that you have good reason to believe he can dupe. And if you want to go one more, give him a mid range rune like um or pul. If he would say "I only dupe HRs because those aren't worth my time" tell him his dupe isn't worth your money if he can't prove it correctly. He could just be a scammer to get that one hr lol (lotta effort for a little payoff but w/e). At least, that's just how I see it.

asnt there a site out were they teach you how to make these programs? it hink he shuld make his own and sell to people that would be a more of a profit sell it for like 1k each and u can make money for college with seling dupe AND selling items..

heres what i think you should do. Aperson can only hold 88 runes(40stash, 36inv, 12cube). tell him to dupe a crappy rune like el whatever(so he doesn't steal) 90 times. if he drops 90(89 over the top too but 90 more even) el's then he has the program.

Or...you could take up C++ and make you own(if you even use C++ lol) or whatever else you'l need to know. I see how you want to sell items to make money, but just gmerc dupe and buy and run d2jsp all day and you'll have good items in no time(enough to sell constistanly). I have a friend who finds like whole invintory of keys+ with jsp in one night. just sell organ sets or torches online and make $$. $10 per torch average, 10 torches per night, $700 a week with just one comp running all the time. idk my thought on this. but bottom line is, is you're not 100% sure it works, don't buy it.

Or get a god damned job. Make 700 dollars in a weak the NORMAL way. Illegally duping items in a videogame and then selling them online is NOT a prospective business, COULD get you into trouble later, and REALLY isn't a great investment of 100 dollars. The possibility of negative return, even if it isn't material, is FAR too great.

If you want to start a business, learn business. A real buisinessman would NEVER invest a cent into Diablo 2.

That isn't to say you can't make money off of the game: It's the type of money you're making that isn't very smart. It's easy to roll people for money on the streets, but it isn't very smart. Think of it that way.

Well I found one for $250, the seller has already sold 3 on ebay and the 3 people have all left feeback saying the dupe works A+++ ebayer etc. Is it safe to buy on ebay? The guy guarantees it will work on all closed realms, sc, hd, lad, and non-lad in this patch 1.11b. I really need the money, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new patch wont come out till earliest november.

What do you guys think about this program?

Hey all I have to say is make sure he proves it to you if you're going to buy his. most of the people who bought it have few feedback. His sounds like It might be dif from mine but i dont know enough about his to tell.

dont buy till next patch .. once again ive said this,, just do what hellsing said get a d2sp hunt for keys then sell torches.. i mean sell for liek 5 dolars cheaper then most or something then u get all costumers and such and its good profit

Well if we make enough from this dupe program untill next patch comes out, that gives us more money to buy a new program for next patch. Because chances are the program in the next patch will be like you said before $700 atleast. If this works I may need your guesses help in starting off, I'll talk about it more later. Right now I made an offer to him, waiting for his reply.
Do you guys have any idea when the next patch will be out? Usually the new patch comes out 1-2 weeks after the season ends.
Also I do know C++ so all I have to do is figure out a way to rescript the program to work with the new match or add .dll file that will bypass some of bnets code in desyncing, or whatever. It will take time, but what do you guys think?

Dont belive this guy, what you need to do is go look around some good forums. fine some one who is very good in C++ and assmbler. Have him make a dll that injects. Im sure some one will make it for you for around $150-160

Okay anyway check it If you go to ebay, and search for Diablo 2 dupe, you get 2 results. now the first one selles $250 , and the other one sells for $150.

Now if you read the $250 one, that is what we are talking about in this forum now.

But If you read the $150 you will notice that he says,

I have Bought the dupe for 250$ and now reselling a few copies for a lower price, and have bought previous ones too,

I cannot do Buy it now, But I am willing to sell product for 150$ just send money via paypal to [email protected]

So i think these are the same person, just trying to make some money scamming.

that was a tiny patch though wasn't it? people won't sell patches that cheap because then it would go public and then awesome items would be mass produced and really cheap. like i said before, d2jsp bot for like $25. Then, but another d2 and d2 LoD and then you can bot twice at once(maybe i'm not sure).

ok like i said before, my friend finds like 20+keys in one night with d2jsp. all you do is turn the keys into torches(ubering ofcourse) and sell the torches super cheap. No effort involved except ubering and setting up yor webstie or selling them off ebay.
