Hackin Newb needs help

Whatup fellas.
Glad I found this place... Ill definitely be a regular visitor from now on.


I used to be "100% legit" but F that. Ive been playing around with the D2Loader and D2Chicken (http://www.d2sector.net/downloads/index.php?act=view&id=303) hack all night now and have had no success getting either one to work. Everytime i try to run chicken it says to make sure im using "D2Loader". As for the Loader I unzipped it into my D2 directory


Basically you can flame me for being a complete newb at this stuff but I'd like to learn. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok...first, some advive to you since you're new to d2 hacking.

If you want to use a maphack, use Stings Maphack. It's 100% safe when you use the reveal act function. There's a tutorial about this maphack in the stickys made by Siris. If you want to use a 100% safe bot, use MM.Bot. It only runs pindle, eldricht and shenk, but it's like I already said 100% safe. If you don't give a shit about safety, use d2jsp. It runs hella lot, like andy, countess, pit, duriel, meph, diablo, shenk, eldricht bla bla bla, but it's detecable (I don't think that blizzard is going to ban anyone now because the ladder ends soon, so you may use d2jsp..). Don't even think of using TPPK programs...and DON'T EVER USE EASYPLAY SHIT. Don't ever trust in any sites who offer dupehacks or shit like that...or people who offer you hacks on bnet. If you're not sure that the program is 100% trustworthy, go to http://virusscan.jotti.org and scan the file or post it on the forums so a mod or another member can scan it.

Does the D2Chicken come with a DLL file? If you have d2loader up properly then you need to put the D2Chicken into a folder called plugin inside of D2 folder.

Also make sure you rename D2loader to DiabloII.exe
