lol their both in immaculate condition, spent 7 years restoring them with my uncle, been worknig on them since i aws 10 and finally finished, the mustang is a boss but we managed to fit a 572 crate into the camaro so its a hard choice

Pick the one you will thrash on less. You might live longer. I don't know your background but most people can't handle a 572 in a car as light as a Camaro. Hope you stiffened up that unibody or you will twist it for sure. If the Mustang is numbers matching, pick that and baby the f^ck out of it!

Oh, and be sure to thank that Uncle of yours daily!

An origionally restored 69 Boss is way more valuable then an SS Camaro.

But still, I'm partial to fords. I used to own a 67 Mercury Cougar XR-7 that we stuffed a 390 in.

which ever is worth more or which ever gets more on gas so you can afford it lol(new motors right?). Also, since these cars are so old won't it be expensive to fix you crash it? that means high insurance. i'd sell and buy a new car and then keep the extra cash for college etc if you could.

my friend's dad is actually fixing up an old camaro. i forget which year though...

Man, alot of the classic cars (espeically 60's era muscle) selling, your best bet is to buy a climate-controlled storage shed and park it there for 10 years.

most old cars have metal bodies instead of fiberglass etc i know that so they would last a lot longer(went to a car lot one day while buying car,not mine, and saw a 50's car for $100,000+).

I'd go with the Camaro... But that's just because I'm a Chevy guy. My dad owned a '69 Camaro Z28 that he basically rebuilt by himself.

Too bad he sold the thing and bought a plane.

The bosses with the origional 427's go for about 150k, origional 302 bosses go for about 50k..

SS Camaros, if they h ave the 398's go for about 30-35k Yenkos/convertibles for a bit more. But given all the work you've put behind the car and the obscene motor...

I don't see how your Camaro could get much more then 6 miles to the gallon.

The fastback mustangs are the most popular, most of them were the 302's so I'd put money on that's what it has.

If you do have a 427 though.. I'd spring for that over the camaro any day. The 427's with the matching numbers are insanely valueable. Almost too valueable to drive.
