290s....what are they?

now i know im going to sound like a noob......o well dont really care. i would really like to know what 290s are. i hear people talking about them all the time but no1 ever explains to me what they. so can some1 explain to me WHAT 290'S ARE.

lol..a 290 is a small poison charm of toxic...adds 290 psn dmg over 10 seconds...basically on useast non ladder its our currency...and dont worry about if its a noob question or not, no one is going to heckle you about it..so dont be scared to ask any question noob or elite.

well thank you....do u know what they are worth on USWest?? and if i was to start playing USEast do i have to start a new account??

Im not sure exactly how much they are worth on west but I know that on west it's harder to find things like shakos and stuff like that so they are worth more 290s... but that doesnt explain how much they are worth, I play on east and all I can say is they are worth a lot. If you have and account on USWest and want to start playing east you do have to make a new account. Thats the thing that sucks, I would play both but it would be too easy to go on east find an awesome item then go to west and sell it for a lot. they are like 2 different servers that require a different username/password and u have to make new chars... sucks, i know.

not as much in europe, in europe the currency tens to go more to runes (ist, mal, etc)
