Not asking for favorites, id just like people to post what they think the pro's and con's of different races and different classes are.

The racial abilities are the pros for EVERY race and actually none of them has cons. It depends on the class you'll talk which race is the best you know? E.g., humans are the best for PvE rogues and warriors because of +5 maces/swords. If you are going to pvp on horde side, undeads are the best race because of will of the forsaken and 10 more shadow resistance. Or Orcs: They are probably the best class for PvE rogues or for warriors because of the +50% more attack power ability...

but alliance sucks its a bunch of cry babies, its 10-13 year olds who think their all badass becuase they can carry out their lucid fanticies with night elves and people who think gnomes are funny and in general their a bunch of idioits, and yes i know that i'm gunna get people going "well i play alliance and i'm not retared" fine your not i said the majority

please just look at the races

Night elves
Dwarves
Gnomes

Horde
Undead
Tauren
Orc
Troll

each has their abilities and we can go on FOREVER about which Faction/race is the best
btu what it really comes down to is class becuase its a never ending game of rock paper sicors with a little skill involved warrior>mages and some times mages>warrior it really depends

there are no cons for any of the races, except for the fact that horde races look ugly as hell. they all have their racial benefits. horde benefits are better for pvp than alliance ones, but alliance benefits are nice too. go to World of Warcraft Community Site if you want to know what the benefits are for each race.

druids: "jack of all trades, ace of none." druids can be good at a lot of different things, but not great at any.

hunters: good ranged damage, get a pet for tanking. not as high powered as other damage dealers and their pets cant tank as well for groups. good solo, but not one of the more sought after classes for a group.

mages: very high powered, but cant take damage. my mage can take damage pretty well because i've specc'd her more for survival than for pure DPS.

paladins: good healing, OK tanking abilities, moderately low damage.

priest: primary healer, always welcome in any group. can also be specc'd to deal a pretty significant amount of damage. same as mage, cant take damage.

rogue: stealth, can reach almost as high DPS as a mage. bad tank as far as melee chars go.

shaman: similar to paladin except i believe they do a lot more damage and cant heal quite as well.

warlock: extremely cheap, easy, and effective in PvP if built right. do decently solo because of pets. one of the least sought after for groups because they dont add much.

warrior: primary tank, always welcome in any group. low damage output, but can really take a pounding.

what are you saying warriors don't deal damage, go watch some crazy warrior vids, PvP and PvE some on these guys will 2 hit people with full heath, blow right through a high powered priest/mage shield, their great for tank get a holy priest healing them defensive stance, then the once move to make the mob focous on you and warriors are a geat class, there are just to many of them, also they look ****ing badass

i've never met a warrior that did any significant damage. i've never met any tank who did significant damage. there are not too many of them, there arent enough. its always hard to find a warrior for a group. dont hate on me just cause i got the job you wanted.

Uhm...well melee classes like warrios and rouges scale with gear, casters actually don't.

i don't hate you, i;m correcting you, all warriors i know will do 1K plus white dmg on an avg hit

Nobody ever talks about the paladin. I've never used one but i think they look cool and i got a friend who would say the kick everything else's ass. Thats just him though.

Yeah, retribution paladins can quite kick ass, but actually they're nothing else than just offensive warriors.

Not true at all, in fact 95% of my guild is in college and beyond. That was a really dumb generalization. In fact, to my knowledge, most 10-13 year olds think it's cool to be the "bad guy" so they roll horde.

Haha, most german WoW horde players say that the most kids choose alliance cause they look "pretty" xD
