Posting WoW Screenshots

Okay okay, I see this a lot. People always asking how to post a WoW screen shot on this site. I am not sure if you can do this in photoshop but thats sometimes not free.

To take a WoW screen shot you will need to down this
IrfanView - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com

Download to your desktop. Then run it to install. Easy to do unless your retarded.

Once it is downloaded you can open it up. You will see a screen like this.

Go to file, then to open to find your screen shot.

OPEN YOUR SCREENSHOT AND VIEW IT ON THE PROGRAM!!!!

Then go back to file and SAVE AS.



Save as Jpeg format in My Documents or where ever you want.

Once in this format you can upload it like a regular screenshot on this site.

Or theres that other way where you can press the print screen button, save it, and host it. But this way works to... I guess. Thanks for the contrib.

The reason i posted this is because you can't host tga files on this site or imageshack or any other place for that matter. WoW screenshots are in tga format making them unreadable to most sites.

well all u have to do is open the tga file in photoshop or even paint for that matter and resave it as a jpg

Paint can't open tga files. Second this is for people without photoshop.

i just checked photobucket and ur right it doesnt upload targa files like i thought it did, good call.

I just open crap with Fireworks, it seems to be able to open everything.

I am not saying this is the only way to open WoW screenshots. I am just giving people a hand if they didn't have a program to use. I know i didn't have a program to use until i found this one. Its rly easy to use and you can change sizes on it and everything. Just letting people know how to do it it if they were lost. And i have no idea what fireworks is.
