Internet Accelerator

Hi, for the rest of the month im stuck with Dial-up and its really really slow so does anyone know of a good Internet Accelerator that would help me? currently I got fasterfox for browsing webpages..etc but I need something that will help me with connections such as Battle.net and stuff like that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

wow that reall helped out out shift, what I am sayign is im at bros house for the rest of the month so i installed dial up since the cable company said if I wanna use my same cable service at another house I will have to pay another 60 bucks for the service I already got so whats the point of that right? So I just got 30 days free dial up and I need something to speed it up.

it really cant be sped up. but when i had dialup i had no problems at all runnin d2. just close all IM's all web windows and you'll be fine

just go to google and type in Internet accelerator for dialup

its that easy

All an internet accelerator does is prefetch the page and such, it doesn't "speed up" your internet connection at all. For instance, after doing a Google serach, it may start to preload all, or the top 5, search results incase you click on them.

As wm_hunter said, they don't accelerate internet. What you have is what you get. You get the illusion that it's faster with prefetching.

if you seriously need one. just go to download.com and use its search bar. it will give you a few to choose from. but all they do is add a .06% filter that can be added manually anyways.

well if your lookin to download things faster then, maybe try DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) Google it, if that's not what your looking for, sorry then i cant help you
