if you dupe something, does the copy poof, or can the original poof as well, or is there no original, and whichever gets scanned first will poof? Can both poof?

Battle.Net erases both Original and Duped after you dupe them unless you perm.. =/

Here's what you do: You dupe them then sell it and simply buy something better or another one.

so in the explanation, it says you enter a game with the character with loader. Do you leave the first game before doing this, or sit there while you log in on other set ok cd keys and go in game with mule?

And that's why your realm is so ****ed up, people selling poofies. I just duped items as a test to see how long they last, I'm not going to trade them. Even though dupes have become more of a problem on Europe lately, it's still not as bad as it is on the US realms where you have to perm every game. Besides some of the shit that I just duped, I've never had anything poof on me (and I got some godly gear). I guess it's just a simple matter of mentality.

i've never had the originals poof only the copies, just don't ever bring originals / copies / copies of copies into the same game and you'll be fine

you guys do know that if you sell your duped runes to the vendor and buy them back there legit and perm, not a rumor. It really does work.

Only problem is i think it cost like 70000 per rune buy back, unless you can dupe gold!
