Okay, you might think, what a dumb question! More life! Duh! Well, thinking about it, I would only put one point into it. Why? Because, it's only useful as a minion stack. Think about it, the only time another player can hit you is basically when the minions are gone, with the exception of smiters and chargers, but they are easily countered if do not desynch. Back onto my theory, another player can generally only hit you when you're minions are gone, so, does the oak give life when it is dead? No. Think about it, and give me your feedback.

That's why there is a thing call "recast." laugh: Not trying to sound like a smartass but life > damage.

When you recast, think about it, they just kill the summons again.

when i had my druid i liked oak for life, but frankly i didnt put any points into it, it was high enough with just the charges off hoto an it does die extremely fast in duels, on my fury druid i found heart of wolverine to be a much better spirit, because heart adds damage, and if you think about it more life means you can survive longer, more damage means you kill faster, so they even eachother out, its all personal preference though

I would argue that you either get more life again(if they're still attacking you) or more time(if they go after the spirit). Maybe it's just me but I'll take all the free time or life i can get.

It's on top of you for about half a second, hence only if you are teleing.

So, frater, are you impling that you're going to walk around?
Maybe strengthen your summons to tank more hits?

Maybe strengthen your summons to tank more hits? You needn't necessarily walk around, if you want to spam more than 1 Tornado before teleing away, or tornadolock, you will be sitting like a duck. Do you actually have a Windy? Your knowledge on them seems very limited.
However, be my guest and make a Windy with 1 point in Oak xD
And having more points in other summons just means that your opponents will be able to leech more life and mana off them, however they will still die in 1 hit.

Well, that just proves my point, it's just useful as a minion stack because when it finally dies, w/e can hit you, and when they hit you, the oak is gone giving you no +life.

@recasting, just go through the process again dumbass. It won't give you +life when it's dead, and when it's dead, that's the only time someone can kill you so..

Your oak sage tanked a hit for you, its gone. Wouldn't you be smart enough to teleport away and recast or would you continue the fight without the additional life boost?

Also, did you maybe think of such attacks like Tornado (area damage), or Fireball (splash damage), or Lightning (passes through everything), or Blizzard (area damage), or Orb (area damage)?
Sure son, go and make your Druid with 1 point in Oak, so you get your minion stack, I'm sure you'll pwn.

The oak is gonna be dead before you die, for sure. So it won't give you + life when you are getting hit and about to die.
You guys who think "just recast" are just ignorant. I've said multiple times, just repeat the process, before you die the oak will die giving you no +life EVERYTIME, because it tanks hits before you do.
