What chars would be good to start with on the new ladder? I thought if we got a group together here that we could have the best combination to play with. I was thinking blizz sorc for mfing later, but also I know there won't be cta's for a while so a barb would be a useful party member. Maybe we can get a group of eight who will be playing the new ladder and figure out what we're gonna be.

I'd like make a blizzard sorc too. She seems best choice for me. Especially since she can solo ancient tunnels. Don't know why but I love that area lol

Well I will eventually have to make all my charachters again but I'm thinkin bowzon again. It can be a workable MFer and is one good wat to clear chaos. If the forum gets a squad going I want in. We will all be way better off if we work together until the season gets going strong.

I thought of a summon necro since they can basicly solo hell naked. But if I have a blizz sorc I can always moat meph for mfing him and wont have to worry about having shitty items.
When starting ladder how do you get rich? Is it in group games and you just get the drops or are you strong enough to actually do it yourself?

Well, since I'll be doing the priv running thing, I've decided to make a paladin to help out team members. Max holy bolt for healing, Fanat to help out all melee. That one aura that reduces the enemies resistant for sorcs in the group.

iam gonna make a orb/fb sorc/energy shield
my last sorc was lvl 96
orb/fb/es
i can clear chaos...
i can clear baal
and easy with mf.. iam going to use full tal rasha for res..and mf also a orb/fb can kill olmost everyting cause iam fire and cold! ive there is a cold/fire imum is just use my merc.. i take orb/fb cause i dont wanna make a orb/light cause thats sucks with low damge..
so my choice will be a sorc orb/fb
after that iam going to make a nice duel char and that will be a bone nec..
its pwns!!

blizzsorc so you can do meph and bosses ez. that was always my starting character. now i make a lite sorc. for mm be-oh-tee. unless u can do it with a blizz sorc..hmm.
wait, is the efficiency of a lite sorc ohkay against mephisto? thats of course without its godly gear and stuff.

It's not gonna be that bad really. If we get a good bunch of people together we can get it goin pretty quickly I would imagine.

last ladder i made a Blizz Sorc, i was doin meph runs and found a Hoz, id'd as 195%ED traded for jah, made enigma later, the rest is history.

Meh wish i could join you guys and all but i uninstalled my d2 since the workload has been heavier than ever at school. But my 2cents on it would be to use a blizz sorc if you are serious about getting to lvl99...because it seems to work the best. Also pass winners of getting to lvl99 first were blizz sorcs (correct me if im wrong but my friend told me this so im not 100% sure).
Go get em tigers, and if you do win and get to lvl 99 first..please inform mods so we can celebrate and brag along with you on your sucess

Well which characters are best for getting rich? Sorcs I would imagine because they'll be the only ones th at can tele for a while. I just have some deep hatred of mfing, for I have only found something worth more than 1 soj once, and that was a 30ish life pcomb gc. Made all of my wealth off of keying. But people probably won't be rich for a while right? How fast does the economy build up in ladder?
