GM duels=non existent on bnet anymore?

I remember there were alot of bmers in 1.10 when I played frequently before I started playing again recently. Now that I have a dueler made and take him into duel games it seems like that if you die people will repeatedly nk you over and over and over until you leave... The funny part is I have seen comments such as "this game is to ez" after they are tired of it too. Well of course the game is easy if all you do is TG and NK...

I remember people would nk you in 1.10 but not like 1.11. You usually had to actually piss someone off for them to nk until you left. Now it seems like if you die in a duel game you may as well be done because theres no way in hell you are getting your corpse. If your in a game where everyone else is BMing and you start to BM they cry. WTF.


I just don't get how anyone would get any sense of fulfillment out of naked killing people over and over again. There is no challenge or fight in it. I thought people dueled for the challenge. It seems I was wrong.

hahaha you are right its impossible to find a good GM pub game. but ive figured out the reason why. 90% of the time the reason those ppl are BM'ing is because they arent good enough to duel GM.

As far as saying "too ez" they do that just to piss you off. If your naked and theyre constantly nk'ing you, they know you are getting pissed. its a big part of the reason they do it. they love it when they can get the best of you. apparently they get satisfaction out of pissing ppl off.

......im not goin to lie, when i get pissed off when my lvl 96 dies, or im finding junk mfing, or something to that effect, ill go kick some ass in a pub game to feel better. but even then i only nk the noobs that give me a reason to.

all in all, theres no real hope in finding GM pub games, but GM duels arent non-exhistant. they are just private and for obvious reasons. there used to be a few guilds (or clans) that i would duel with in their tournaments. they would have GM dueling games and events all the time. i wasnt a part of the guild, all i did was make friends with one of the members, and worked my way into the duels.

Bm is only but a word players made up. The game creator made these items and skills for it to be used, not to be under the the classification of Bm.

pvp isnt fun if your playing with bad mannered people. the therm bm doesnt just cover "bm" items, it covers everything. in my opinion, if you dont have honor, you have nothing.

for example if you nk people just to piss em off. this not only ruins the fun of potentially 7 other people just in that game, but it shows that you really have no honor or respect. (kind of like the rules of war. there are certain rules that every country is supposed to respect and follow. when a country doesnt, they not only lose respect from all other countries, its a big cause of war )

its kind of the same thing for "bm" items. take for example a really well built pvp smiter. now we all know a well built smiter can absolutely destroy most classes with ease, lets say a whirlwind barb. now i know this from experience. working GM, there are very few barbs i have come across that can go head to head with me. hell most of the time i can take 2 at once with no problem whatsoever. there are a few, however, that ive met that give me a good fight. say this barb, after a good 1 minute fight, managed to get the best of me and win. if i were BM and used an exile instead of up'd hoz, even the BEST of the BEST barb, would never get the upper hand on me.

now u can say even he can go "BM" and try to get the best of me. even if he had a ton of slowing gear (like maras belt, and cleglaws together gives huge slowing) and use a Doom to freeze me and make me move slow as a snail....but hed still die. only chance he would have at surviving (note, not winning) would be to use a dracs or a lastwish for lifetap. all this would do is stalemate.

now tell me.... a very good smiter is hard to beat as it is for most classes. how is it fair to people who actually build and create their own characters, mayb even specifically built to fight smiters, to exploit them for their weaknesses to have a chance. they now have a chance against you, and its as simple as putting on exile, or stack sorb gear, to beat them. is that fair?

so for obvious reasons, there are things declared Bad Mannered.

also note to Kaze: of coarse the game creators tried to their best ability to make the game fair and as balanced as possible across all classes. yet......with almost every patch they fix imbalances and flaws not only with pvp, items, and skills, but with the entire game. on nonladder imps are considered bm....theres a reason they cant be dropped by the game anymore. also think of things such as v08 vamp gaze, 08 windforce, ect (there are COUNTLESS things) all of which were changed to balance things out.
