A. Yes, you need the original WoW game and The Burning Crusade expansion pack to play Wrath of the Lich King.

Yep right on the corner in a big ol' green circle. Agreed with Scott. Besides the original answer does not answer the question properly. The question asks if you have to buy BC before you buy WotLK. Says nothing about playing it.

I have a feeling either Skye or Spit tried to buy wrath without the original games.
