hi
im looking for a bot for open net that will turn another player into a hireling (by running 2 or more instances of d2) that will follow you and attack etc
is there one of them going around and if so can someone send me the link?
also has to be easy to use due to my limited knowledge on these matters o.O
also are there any mod/hacks that will allow you to use ladder rune words and find ladder items in single player or open net?

its called redvex. it is easy to use, and should work on open. i have only used it on closed
Diablo II Sector > RedVex and Plugins
you want to install the main program, and then the "s1ut follow bot" plugin.
(replace the 1 with l. s1ut is censored apparently)
im sure that is, but i dont know right now. you can try searching for it on our forums

sorry then, i think redvex is closed only then.
redvex basically works as an intermediary between you and the server. thats why you have to create another gateway. when i was using it, i was using the gateway under "southwest".
open bnet is much different.
it takes much longer to make your standard game, not to mention the potential lag.

hmmm thanks for the info again, maybe i could use it that way either closed or make my own realm
but if i do would i get banned if i was to hack etc, if i was in my own made realm?

you have to make your own realm for the program to work.
basically the program controls the "hireling" through that realm and then sends that information onto the real realm. in the program it will ask you which realm you want to target.
i think that redvex for the most part is safe. although that was the case years ago. since they are banning for d2 loader now, i am not sure.
